In one method, an application is activated, upon detection of an event for executing the application, on a terminal, and an application screen having at least one content is displayed. Upon detecting a touch input for selecting, at least one content is selected. Upon detecting a touch input on a transmission button on the application screen, the selected at least one content is transmitted to an external terminal. In another method, an application screen having at least one icon for executing function is displayed; a touch input for selecting an icon associated with content to be received from an external terminal is detected; at least one identifier broadcast by the external terminal is displayed; and at least one content is received from the external terminal corresponding to the selected identifier, upon detection of a touch input for selecting at least one identifier.

An electronic device and a method for data communication with such an electronic device. The electronic device combines, on the one hand, a Near Field Communication (NFC) interface, including an antenna and a circuit for generating a modulated electromagnetic wave, and on the other hand a user interface including a touch-sensitive display configured to present an object relating to a communication action executable by means of the NFC interface. A control unit connected to the NFC interface and the user interface, is configured to trigger the NFC interface to execute the communication action responsive to simultaneous detection of the presented object being touched and the NFC interface being in communicative connection with a second NFC interface of a second device.

A system for communicating media is disclosed. Such a system may include, for example, a media broken into a plurality of independent segment files that may represent sequential portions of the media. One of the segment files can be encoded to have a format that is different than the encoded format of another one of the segment files. The formats may be chosen to allow outputting of information in the segments at different rates. A list may include network addresses for the segment files, and a content delivery system may be deployed to distribute media content to remotely located requesting devices by sending the segment files in response to requests for the segment files.

A document signing platform implemented on one or more computers implements a process for capturing data evidencing valid execution of a document. The process comprises: receiving, from an originator computing device, a submission comprising a document to be signed by a signatory; providing the signatory electronic access to the document and to an indication of a set of one or more substantiation actions to be performed; and receiving and recording event data from a signatory device associated with the signatory. The event data includes data associated with affixation of an electronic signature to the document, and additionally includes substantiation event data representing performance of the set of one or more substantiation actions on the signatory device. The process further comprises validating completion of the set of substantiation actions based on the received event data; and generating a certificate of evidence that comprises at least some of the event data.

This present invention disclosure relates to a method for playing music prior to establishing a phone call. It specifically relates to music discovery and playing the music for around 8 seconds, when a person makes a call from his mobile phone. Since music is played from the user's phone, there is no telecom network integration required. Additionally, the disclosure provides discovering songs based on user's context and collecting the songs thereof.

An apparatus and method for transferring data from a first mobile terminal to a second mobile terminal are provided. The method includes pairing the first mobile terminal and the second mobile terminal using Near Field Communication (NFC), selecting at least one item on the first mobile terminal to be transferred to the second mobile terminal, and confirming transfer of the at least one item to the second mobile terminal, and transferring the at least one item from the first mobile terminal to the second mobile terminal.
