The operations further include, responsive to receiving the call request, generating a call alert based on the first call alert option.
System and method for prompt modification based on caller hang Ups in IVRs
In a method for use in Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems, an IVR is configured such that voice prompts provided to a caller vary systematically and caller hang-up activity is attributed to the particular version of a prompt played to the caller. Voice prompt modifications are chosen based on how long the caller willingly listens to the voice prompt. A relatively short time listening to a prompt before hang-up, indicates dissatisfaction with that prompt. The system compares caller hang-up rates for each of the phrases in a prompt and chooses the optimum solution, which is the variant of the prompt with the longest caller listening time. Optionally, the system compares hang up rates to a threshold and contingent on that comparison chooses an alternative version of the prompt.

Embodiments of an apparatus and methods for selecting a communication line from two or more lines on a communication device are described herein. The communication device comprises a display module, an input module, a line selection module, and a communication module for making a call over a network to a target recipient. In one broad aspect, a determination of which of the communication lines is a communication line associated with the one of two or more message addresses at which a message is received is made in the selection of a communication line accessible at the communication device on which an outgoing call may be placed.

INSTANT ACTIVATION AND PROVISIONING FOR TELECOMMUNICATION SERVICES ON A MOBILE DEVICE
Methods and systems for instant activation of virtual PBX services on a mobile device are disclosed. In one aspect, a user request for activating virtual PBX services is received on a mobile device. An available primary identification number for the virtual PBX services is retrieved from a telecommunication service provider (TSP). A user interface is presented on the mobile device including a first interface portion presenting the available primary identification number and a second interface portion configured to receive a user identifier. Upon receiving the user input specifying the user identifier and while the user interface is still presented on the mobile device, a user instruction for activating the virtual PBX services is received. Upon receiving the user instruction, the user identifier is sent to the TSP. Then, a confirmation is received from the TSP.
INTERFACE DISPLAY METHOD AND RELATED APPARATUS
An interface display method and a related apparatus are provided, related to the field of terminal technologies. The method includes: when a user modifies a position of a vowifi switch displayed in a control center interface, an electronic device can save a modification operation of the user. When a SIM card is inserted into the electronic device again, the saved position, of the vowifi switch, previously modified by the user may be obtained, so that the position at which the vowifi switch is displayed is the position modified by the user. In this way, modification of the user on the position of the vowifi switch may take effect, thereby improving user experience.
