A SIM card selection method includes: receiving a first input of a user to a target application; and controlling, in response to the first input, the target application to perform a first operation based on a first SIM card. The first SIM card is a SIM card associated with a first display region, and the first display region is a display region in which an icon of the target application is located.

Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide for generating, updating, and/or otherwise managing a shared dynamic collaborative presentation progression interface in association with an audio-video conferencing interface service. An example embodiment is configured to monitor an active audio-video conference presentation that is configured for display to participating client devices by the audio-video conference interface service, generate a shared dynamic collaborative presentation progression interface, transmit the shared dynamic collaborative presentation progression interface to the plurality of participating client devices, receive an initiate topic object sequence set event from at least one participating client device of the participating client devices, identify a first topic object of the topic object sequence set as an active topic object, and update the shared dynamic collaborative presentation progression interface render an active visual emphasis element of the first topic object.

A user equipment (UE) may be equipped with multiple subscriber identity modules (SIMS) capable of supporting emergency calls. When an emergency call is detected, the UE may send emergency call requests to a network through the multiple SIMS. The UE may handle the emergency call through whichever SIM that receives the earliest successful response from the network. By utilizing multiple SIMS to establish the emergency call, both reliability and session response time may be enhanced.

A dialing method and a mobile terminal are provided. The dialing method includes: receiving a first input by a user; displaying a preset dialing control area in response to the first input, and displaying a pre-copied first phone number in a phone number input area of the dialing control area; receiving a second input by the user on the dialing control area; and dialing the first phone number in response to the second input.

An application such as a contacts management application may be configured to display information for multiple contacts. The displayed information may include carrier information for certain contacts, indicating which of multiple cellular communication carriers provides cellular communication services for each contact. This may allow a user to provide recommendations to the user's contacts, such as promotional messages suggesting that the contacts switch to the carrier of the user. Technologies for handling a call based on user identification include determining a personal profile identification for a user of a communal mobile communication device and initiating a call to a personal communication device using a phone number of the personal communication device and the personal profile identification. The personal communication device may apply a call treatment to the incoming call based on the personal profile identification. Additionally, the personal communication device may originate a call to a call recipient of the communal mobile communication device using a personal profile identification to identify the call recipient. The communal mobile communication device may apply a call treatment to the incoming call based on the personal profile identification.

A method, system and graphical user interface (GUI) for a mobile device, the GUI including: (a) at least one multifunctional button having at least two activation states: (i) a first state, when actuated, providing a basic function, and (ii) a second state, when actuated, providing an advanced function; whereby each of the activation states is actuated by a different user action; and (b) a plurality of calling accounts, each of the plurality of calling account being logically associated with a subscriber identity module (SIM) card or a direct inward dial (DID) number; wherein the at least one multifunctional button is configured to facilitate selection of one of the plurality of calling accounts in order to perform a communication event.

The processor executes program code that enables the wireless communication device to: selectively channel data operations associated with a graphical user interface (GUI) of a currently active electronic display to one SIM that is user-assigned to the currently active electronic display. The processor executes program code that enables the wireless communication device to: associating input/output (I/O) functions with the currently active electronic display from among the multiple electronic displays.

A process triggering method may comprise receiving an input operation on a lock screen of a terminal device, wherein the lock screen is provided by an application executing on the terminal device; determining input operation information corresponding to an input operation; determining triggering operation information matching with the input operation information; determining a process corresponding to the input operation, wherein the input operation information is for accessing only the process, and wherein the input operation information does not have a function of unlocking the terminal device at a system level, wherein unlocking the terminal device at the system level includes making other processes on the terminal device accessible and unlocking the terminal device at the system level requires an unlock control different from the input operation information for accessing the process; and triggering, by the application, the process without unlocking the terminal device at the system level.
