STORAGE MEDIUM STORING COMPUTER-READABLE INSTRUCTIONS FOR CAUSING INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS TO DISPLAY INFORMATION OF PRINTER
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium stores computer-readable instructions for an information processing apparatus including: a processor; a display; and a memory storing at least one set of printer information. First and second type printers transmit status information to the information processing apparatus. The status information from the first type printer includes first information. The status information from the second type printer includes second information. The computer-readable instructions, when executed by the processor, cause the information processing apparatus to perform: setting target printer information to one of the at least one set of printer information; receiving the status information from a printer specified by the target printer information; and displaying, when the received status information includes the first information, a first screen on the display; and displaying, when the received status information includes the second information and does not include the first information, a second screen on the display.
Image capture devices featuring intelligent use of lightweight hardware-generated statistics
The present disclosure provides image capture devices and associated methods that feature intelligent use of hardware-generated statistics. An example image capture device can include an imaging hardware pipeline that generates frames of imagery. The imaging hardware pipeline can generate one or more hardware-generated statistics based at least in part on, for example, the raw image data captured by the image sensor or intermediate image data within the pipeline. The image capture device can analyze the hardware-generated statistics to determine one or more metrics for the raw image data or the image. The image capture device can determine a downstream operation of the image capture device relative to the image based at least in part on the metrics determined from the hardware generated statistics.
Image forming apparatus
An image forming apparatus includes: a signal output unit configured to output a signal in response to a user operation; a reading unit configured to read a document and generate image data having a first resolution or a second resolution lower than the first resolution; a recording unit configured to form an image on a recording medium; and a controller configured to control the reading unit and the recording unit and execute: (a) primary preparation operation start processing of, when a signal is output, controlling the reading unit so as to start a first preparation operation or a second preparation operation; (b) determination processing of determining; (c) secondary preparation operation start processing and/or reading processing; (d) decision processing of deciding the continuous number of recording copies; and (e) recording processing of causing the recording unit to form the image on the recording medium.
Print substance end-of-life predictions
An example device capable of predicting print substance end-of-life (EOL) comprises a container to hold a print substance, the container comprising a refill port through which print substance is to be introduced into the container. The example device also comprises a processor to receive signals indicative of an amount of print substance introduced via the refill port. The processor is also to predict a print substance end-of-life (EOL) based on the amount of print substance introduced.
Image data processing method and printing system
An image data processing method for estimating an ink consumption amount includes: an image data compression step of compressing image data after RIP processing by run-length encoding; and an ink consumption amount estimation step of calculating a predicted ink consumption amount when printing based on image data is performed by an inkjet printing device based on information on the number of occurrences for each gradation value obtained when run-length encoding is applied to image data and information on an ink consumption amount for each gradation value held in an ink consumption amount table prepared in advance.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE RECORDING MEDIUM THAT RECORDS A DASHBOARD APPLICATION PROGRAM, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
An information processing apparatus includes an outlier detecting unit configured to detect an outlier value included in the numerical value about the certain element, an analysis candidate determining unit configured to determine an analysis candidate if the outlier value about the certain element is detected, the analysis candidate indicating a candidate of an analysis action for the outlier value about the certain element, and an analysis candidate display unit configured to generate a first GUI indicating the outlier value, and display the first GUI in association with the outlier value in the chart displayed on the display device, and generate a second GUI configured to instruct to execute the analysis action that the analysis candidate indicates, and display the second GUI on the display device if the first GUI displayed on the display device is operated or pointed by a cursor.
Image processing apparatus
An image processing apparatus includes at least one of an image forming device configured to form an image on a sheet or an image reader configured to read an image on the sheet, and a storage configured to store information. The apparatus also includes a display configured to display a screen, and a controller. The controller is configured to install an application program relating to the image forming device or the image reader, determine whether to display an execution instruction image for inputting an execution instruction of the installed application program on an individual home screen which is a home screen for individual use by each user, and display the individual home screen containing the execution instruction image determined to be displayed on the display.
Control device setting order condition for ordering a plurality of cartridges at the same time
A controller sets an order condition requiring that one of a latest index value and a current timing reach corresponding one of a reference index value and a reference timing. The order condition is set so that a first cartridge is delivered to a predetermined destination at a first timing. The first cartridge is expected to be out of a printing agent while a first tank is expected to still accommodate the printing agent at the first timing. The controller transmits, in response to determining that a second cartridge is expected to be out of a printing agent while a second tank is expected to still accommodate the printing agent at the first timing, an order command instructing to order the first cartridge and the second cartridge to a relevant device after the order condition is satisfied.
Image processing apparatus capable of displaying user-based option settings
An image processing apparatus, including a display, a memory, and a controller, to provide a plurality of functions is provided. The controller controls the display to display one of a first screen, through which one of the plurality of functions is selectable; a second screen, through which one of a plurality of options for the selected function is selectable; and a third screen, through which selection of the one of the plurality of options is indicated. When the controller reads shortcut information that indicates a first option for a selected one of the functions, and when the first option is permitted to the user, the third screen is displayed. When the first option is not permitted to the user, and if there is a second option permitted to the user, the second screen is displayed.
Methods and Apparatus for Printing Device Process Recording and Display
Methods and apparatus for recording and indicating events associated with printing devices are provided. A computing device can receive a request to record information about a printing device. The request can specify a plurality of types of information related to a time-oriented sequence of events associated with the printing device. After receiving the request, the computing device can record the specified plurality of types of information related to the time-oriented sequence of events. The computing device can indicate the time-oriented sequence of events associated with the printing device using the recorded plurality of types of information.
