Multifunction peripheral which carries out printing processing according to an instruction of an application that operates on an information processing apparatus and method therefor
In a case of a first function of carrying out a cooperative processing in accordance with an instruction from a user of a multifunction peripheral (10), the user is set as an execution user. In a case of a second function of carrying out a cooperative processing in accordance with an instruction from an application, a user instructed by the application is set as an execution user. Further, in a case where an execution user of a cooperative processing carried out using the first function and an execution user of a cooperative processing carried out using the second function are identical, use history information of the execution user is managed as use history information of a single user. This makes it possible to appropriately manage use history information of a cooperative processing.
Method and apparatus for generating a multi-layer correlation mark key
A method, non-transitory computer readable medium and apparatus for generating a multi-layer correlation mark key are disclosed. For example, the method includes determining a first pattern of a first layer of a multi-layer correlation mark, determining a second pattern of a second layer of the multi-layer correlation mark and printing a first key that corresponds to the first pattern and a second key that corresponds to the second pattern on a clear print medium to generate the multi-layer correlation mark key, wherein the multi-layer correlation mark key is overlaid on the multi-layer correlation mark to simultaneously decipher the first layer and the second layer of the multi-layer correlation mark.
Device for sending image data from camera to CCTV network
An integrated Internet camera includes, an infrared sensor, an optical system for forming an image on the infrared sensor and lenses formed from infrared transmitting material, an image capturing circuit, for capturing digital images from the infrared sensor; a network interface device connectible to a computer network for transmission of the digital images, as digital image files, across the computer network. A file transfer device of the camera communicates, via the network interface device, with a destination computer at a selected network address on the computer network, and transfers the digital image files to the destination computer according to a predetermined file transfer protocol. A transport control device of the camera controls addressing of the digital image files to the selected network address. The camera self-initiates a connection with the computer network and a connection with the destination computer at the selected network address.
IMAGE FORMING DEVICE AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
An image can be formed by using a developer containing a luminescent substance, without impairing the finish of the area in which the image is formed. An image forming device 100 includes a print function section 124 which forms a first image included in a plurality of images to be formed on a single page, based on image formation data indicating the image to be formed, on a medium by using a first developer, and forms a second image included in the plurality of images, based on the image formation data, in a non-image-forming area in which the first image is not formed on the medium, by using a second developer containing a luminescent substance.
AUTHENTICATION DEVICE AND ASSOCIATED AUTHENTICATION METHOD
A method including generating first images and/or text on a plurality of items, printing a plurality of unique identifiers, each unique identifier being printed over the images and/or text on a corresponding one of the plurality of items, capturing a plurality of second images, each second image including a corresponding one of the plurality of unique identifiers, and storing the captured plurality of second images in a computer readable memory.
READING DEVICE FOR STARTING PULL SCAN TO SEND REQUIRED SCAN DATA TO EXTERNAL DEVICE AND CANCELLING THE STARTED PULL SCAN UNDER SPECIFIC CONDITION
A reading device includes a scanner, a user interface, and a controller. The controller starts a pull scan based on an execution instruction under a pull scan start condition. The pull scan start condition includes a requirement that first user authentication information is received in association with the execution instruction. The controller cancels the started pull scan under a first cancellation condition. The first cancellation condition includes: a requirement that a cancellation instruction to cancel the pull scan is received through the user interface; and a requirement that second user authentication information received through the user interface corresponds to the first user authentication information. Despite receiving the cancellation instruction after starting the pull scan, the controller continues the pull scan under a first continuation condition. The first continuation condition includes a requirement that the second user authentication information e does not correspond to the first user authentication information.
Authenticity collation system and authenticity collation method
An issuing apparatus is configured to acquire an image obtained by capturing a collation image printed on an information medium via a camera as a first captured image. A collation apparatus is configured to acquire an image obtained by capturing a collation image printed on an information medium to be collated via a camera as a second captured image, generate a corrected image obtained by performing density correction on the first captured image, by predicting a density change at a time point at which the second captured image is acquired based on an elapsed time from a time point at which the first captured image is acquired, and determine a collation region for collation between the first captured image and the second captured image based on a difference image obtained by obtaining a difference between the second captured image and the corrected image for each pixel.
AUTHENTICITY COLLATION SYSTEM AND AUTHENTICITY COLLATION METHOD
An authenticity collation apparatus for collating authenticity of an information medium on which a collation image is printed is proposed. The authenticity collation apparatus includes a processor configured to acquire a second captured image obtained by capturing the collation image at a time of collation, and determine a collation region for collation between a first captured image obtained by capturing the collation image at a time of issuance of the information medium and the second captured image, based on prediction information of a density change at a time point of acquiring the second captured image, the prediction information being based on an elapsed time from a time point of acquiring the first captured image.
