SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR AUTOMATED ORGANIZATION OF SCANNED TEXT DOCUMENTS
A system and method provides automated prediction of filenames and storage locations for scan files generated from a user's scan of their financial documents. A prediction model is generated for the user based on weighted values derived from preexisting filenames and preexisting storage locations for their stored electronic files. Text or images from each scan document is analyzed and weighted and compared to the user's prediction model and a suggested name and storage location is automatically generated. The suggestions are confirmed or corrected by the user prior to storage, and any corrections are used to update the user's prediction model.
Image data transfer control device and image data transfer control method
An image data transfer control device includes a first interface, a first and a second memory, a processor, and a second interface. The first interface acquires image data transferred in predetermined units. The first memory stores inclination correction data corresponding to the inclination of a print head, and correction position data indicating a correction position included in at least one divided image line among the predetermined number of divided image lines including each divided image line group. The second memory stores correction target image data at the correction position. The processor selects each divided image line group based on the inclination correction data, and specifies first and second correction target image data. The second interface outputs the second divided image line group including the first correction target image data instead of the second correction target image data.
SCANNING OF OBJECTS
The present subject matter relates to scanning of objects. A device enabling scanning of objects includes an imaging unit to scan objects and a supporting unit to support the imaging unit on an electronic device. The supporting unit includes a supporting leg that forms a rotatable joint with the imaging unit to enable the imaging unit to fold over the supporting leg. The supporting unit also includes a coupling unit to detachably couple the device to the electronic device.
Automatic microform carrier systems and methods
A digital microform imaging apparatus includes a bracket movably coupled to a chassis. A microform media support is coupled to the bracket and includes a frame and a window supported by the frame. An illumination source is provided to direct light through the window of the microform media support along an optical axis. An optical sensor is positioned along the optical axis. A motor is operatively engaged with the microform media support to move the bracket and frame relative to the chassis along an axis perpendicular to the optical axis.
IMAGE READING DEVICE
An image-reading apparatus includes a housing having a rectangular-shaped opening on a side of a reading target, a lens portion retained or housed within the housing, and a sensor element to receive light condensed by the lens portion, the light being from the reading target. Long sides of the opening include a first layer that is flat and is disposed on the side of the reading target and a second layer that is continuous with the first layer. The long sides of the opening of the housing of the image-reading apparatus has a flat surface on the side of the reading target and an interface between the first layer and the second layer that is curved.
Intercepting device
An intercepting device to inspect a driver including a chassis, an arm mounted on the chassis and articulable between a contracted position and a deployed position, a head assembly mounted on the arm assembly with a camera, a microphone, and a scanner that provides output image, sound, and scan signals commensurate with images, sounds, and documents of the driver, and an electronic control unit operatively coupled to the arm assembly, and the head assembly, and configured to send to the arm actuation signals to articulate the arm from the contracted position to the deployed position, and receive and transmit the output image, sound, and scan signals to a law enforcement electronic device.
Recording device for recording recording image by nozzle set reciprocating relative to recording medium, image processing device for generating recording data for recording recording image by nozzle set reciprocating relative to recording medium and recording method for recording recording image by nozzle set reciprocating relative to recording medium
A recording system for recording a recording image based on image data by repeating a pass operation in which a nozzle column discharges ink while reciprocating relatively to a recording medium in a main scanning direction to form dots on the recording medium, and a conveying operation of relatively moving the nozzle column and the recording medium in a sub-scanning direction crossing the main scanning direction, the recording system including an assigning section for obtaining a plurality of halftone data which is generated with respect to the same area of the image data based on the image data, and which corresponds to the ink of a predetermined color, and then assigning each of the halftone data obtained to the pass operations in the same direction in reciprocation in the main scanning direction in a predetermined recording area.
SOLID-STATE IMAGE SENSOR, IMAGE SCANNING DEVICE, AND IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS
A solid-state image sensor includes a first color filter and a second color filter having different thicknesses and configured to transmit light in predetermined wavelength regions, light-receiving devices configured to receive the light in the predetermined wavelength regions passing through the first color filter and the second color filter, and a light amount compensator configured to compensate for an amount of the light passing through the first color filter or the second color filter.

IMAGE READING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM
An image reading apparatus connected to a conveying apparatus to convey a recording medium to which a toner image is fixed includes a conveying unit and a reading unit having a transparent member, a reading sensor, a housing supporting, and a fan. The conveying unit receives the recording medium discharged from the conveying apparatus and conveys the recording medium. The reading unit is positioned downstream of the conveying unit in a conveying direction of the recording medium. The reading sensor read a housing supporting image information about an image on the recording medium through the transparent member. The housing supports the reading sensor and defines, together with the transparent member, an accommodation space configured to accommodate the reading sensor. The fan is positioned in the accommodation space and circulates air in the accommodation space.
