IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM AND IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS
According to aspects of the present disclosure, in a memory of an MFP, information indicating that an additional function, which is inactivated when shipped from a factory, is activated or inactivated is stored. The MFP starts a trial mode in which trial of the additional function is activated, then the additional function becomes activated within an effective period of the trial mode. The MFP is configured to receive an input of setting information used for the additional function, store the input setting information in the memory and execute a process of the additional function in accordance with the setting information. Further, when the trial mode is terminated, the MFP initializes the setting information in a case where the stored information indicates that the additional function is inactivated, but does not initialize the setting information in a case where the stored information indicates that the additional function is activated.
Image Processing Device
Provided are: a main memory 14 that stores image data, a peripheral region 44 being set to a certain value; and a CPU 12 that performs tonal steps conversion processing on the image data. The CPU 12 includes: a plurality of cores 16 that have a parallel processing function due to a plurality of threads 18 and that execute the tonal steps conversion processing in parallel; and a data cache memory 22 and program cache memory 20 that are provided corresponding to each of the plurality of threads 18. The core 16 specifies a region smaller than a size of the data cache memory 22, of the image data as an operand region 48, and causes the image data corresponding to said operand region 48 to be acquired from the main memory 14 into the data cache memory 22 and executes the tonal steps conversion processing on said operand region 48 without distinction of a central region 42 and the peripheral region 44.
Live Updates for Synthetic Long Exposures
An image sensor of an image capture device may capture an image. The captured image may be stored in a buffer of two or more previously-captured images. An oldest image of the two or more previously-captured images may be removed from the buffer. An aggregate image of the images in the buffer may be updated. This updating may involve subtracting a representation of the oldest image from the aggregate image, and adding a representation of the captured image to the aggregate image. A viewfinder of the image capture device may display a representation of the aggregate image.
SECURING IMAGE DATA DETECTED BY AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A method and device for securing image data detected by an electronic device is provided. The electronic may include a camera. In one aspect, a method includes: capturing image data using the camera; based on the captured image data, detecting a security marker displayed by a display device, the security marker being periodically displayed to be undetectable by a human eye that is viewing the display device; and in response to determining that the security marker is detected by the electronic device, applying a security policy to the image data captured by the electronic device.
IMAGE FORMING APPARATUS AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
An image forming apparatus, which includes a first storage, a second storage, and a bus, includes a first controller configured to store first image data based on input image data, in the first storage, when the input image data is input via the bus; a second controller configured to store second image data based on the first image data, in the second storage; a third controller configured to store third image data based on the second image data, in the first storage; a fourth controller configured to output output image data based on the third image data; and an image former configured to perform image formation based on the output image data.
Define a priority of memory traffic based on image sensor metadata
Systems, apparatuses, and/or methods may define a priority of image memory traffic based on image sensor protocol metadata. For example, a metadata identifier may identify image sensor protocol metadata corresponding to an image sensor physical layer and/or an image sensor link layer. Moreover, a prioritizer may define a priority of the image memory traffic based on the image sensor protocol metadata. The priority may be used to control client access to dedicated memory and/or to shared memory.
Electronic camera, image processing device, and image processing program
There are provided an imaging section imaging a subject and generating a plurality of images; an evaluating section performing evaluation on the plurality of images generated by the imaging section; a selecting section selecting, based on an evaluation result of the evaluating section, a part of images from among the plurality of images generated by the imaging section; a recognizing section performing scene recognition on a plurality of images selected by the selecting section; and a determining section determining, based on a recognition result of the recognizing section, reproduction order of the plurality of images subjected to the scene recognition.
