A communication apparatus that avoids a situation in which all sessions are occupied by fax transmission. The communication apparatus is capable of conducting fax communications via an IP network using a plurality of sessions. An acquisition unit acquires a receive session count which indicates the number of sessions set to be used exclusively for fax reception when the plurality of sessions include any unoccupied session which is a session available for fax communications. A transmission starting unit determines whether or not sessions corresponding in number to the receive session count acquired by the acquisition unit are able to be secured as the receive sessions, and start fax transmission using the unoccupied session if the sessions are able to be secured.

One or more examples provide a method of web conferencing that includes: receiving an initiation request at a management server from a host client device to initiate a scheduled web conference; identifying, in response to the initiation request, an enterprise device located at an enterprise location reserved for the scheduled web conference, the enterprise device communicatively coupled to the management server over a network; and relaying a content stream from the host client device through the management server to the enterprise device over the network for display of the content stream at the enterprise location.

One or more examples provide a method of web conferencing that includes: receiving an initiation request at a management server from a host client device to initiate a scheduled web conference; identifying, in response to the initiation request, an enterprise device located at an enterprise location reserved for the scheduled web conference, the enterprise device communicatively coupled to the management server over a network; and relaying a content stream from the host client device through the management server to the enterprise device over the network for display of the content stream at the enterprise location.

Embodiments of systems and methods for the sending, delivery and receiving of faxes are disclosed herein. In particular, certain embodiments include a fax connector that may be deployed at a user's site, and a faxing system that may be deployed remotely from the user's site. The fax connector can be accessed at the user's site over a computer based network in order to perform functions associated with faxing, including sending, receiving and obtaining status on faxes. The fax connector deployed at the user's site communicates with the remotely deployed faxing system to send, receive, obtain status on, or perform other functions associated with, faxing.

A server system connected to a plurality of information processing apparatuses communicates with a system that provides a function of distributing an image and sound based on an uploaded file to the plurality of information processing apparatuses. The server system includes a receiving unit that receives a notification indicating that an object related to printing is selected, where the object is displayed in a function selection area displayed in response to selection of a predetermined object displayed together with an image based on the file, an acquisition unit that acquires information about the shared file, a second receiving unit configured to receive print settings for the file, and a transmitting unit that transmits, to a different server system, a file based on the acquired information and a print instruction based on the received print settings.

A server system connected to a plurality of information processing apparatuses communicates with a system that provides a function of distributing an image and sound based on an uploaded file to the plurality of information processing apparatuses. The server system includes a receiving unit that receives a notification indicating that an object related to printing is selected, where the object is displayed in a function selection area displayed in response to selection of a predetermined object displayed together with an image based on the file, an acquisition unit that acquires information about the shared file, a second receiving unit configured to receive print settings for the file, and a transmitting unit that transmits, to a different server system, a file based on the acquired information and a print instruction based on the received print settings.

A server system that operates in collaboration with software that enables performing an operation relating to a file posted with a message includes a memory storing a program and a control unit that executes the program to provide an object corresponding to a print function to be displayed on a first operation screen for performing the operation relating to the file or on a second operation screen called from the first operation screen, and cause, based on selection of the object, the software to perform processing to enable an operation for printing the file.
