The computer-readable instructions realize an application configured to, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform, in response to receiving an import instruction to import a workflow, reading, from an export file, workflow information representing the workflow that is a sequence of processes using the image processing apparatus and the cloud server, and selecting one of a plurality of methods to obtain authentication information for accessing the cloud server to perform the workflow represented by the read workflow information, and access, in response to receiving a workflow execution instruction to perform the workflow, the cloud server by using the authentication information obtained in the selected method.

The server apparatus determines, based on whether at least the portion of the document represented by read data generated through reading by the third multi-function printer is printed in composite black, whether the reading target read by the third multi-function printer is the authentic printed product.

According to an embodiment, it is possible to restrict usage of a web-based service error resolution service by multifunctional peripheral devices or the like. A multifunction device for such purposes includes a display unit with a display screen, a device unit configured to generate an error code when an error in the device unit occurs, and a processor. The processor configured to acquire the error code from the device unit and transmit an error notification including the error code to an external apparatus. The processor then receives a counted number of errors from the external apparatus, and then select an error resolution screen to be displayed on the display screen based on the received counted number of errors.

An image processing apparatus includes: an apparatus information generator, an authenticator, and a job controller. The apparatus information generator generates apparatus information including apparatus identification information. The authenticator performs non-contact user authentication with a communication terminal by using communication without the Internet or by capturing image information. The job controller causes the communication terminal whose user has been authenticated by the authenticator to acquire the apparatus information by using communication without the Internet or by providing the apparatus information as image information. The disclosed enhanced document creation and parsing systems deal with enhanced documents that allow for the presentation of document content in a preferred visual manner, while ensuring that the document content can be captured accurately by an automated parser with nothing being discarded or misrepresented. The enhanced document creation system may create an enhanced document by encoding document content in accordance with a defined schema, optionally encrypting the resulting structured data into an encrypted byte string, and embedding the encrypted byte string as non-visible metadata in a rendered document. The resulting enhanced document can be completely and accurately parsed by an enhanced document parsing system that is capable of extracting, decrypting and decoding the embedded document metadata.

An image forming apparatus is provided that includes mechanisms for registering strings, extracting text information from received job data, determining a job availability of the received job data based on a comparison of the extracted text information with the registered strings, associating a result of the determination of job availability with the received job data and storing the result of the determination of job availability and the received job data; and controlling an execution of the received job data based on the result of the determination of job availability, in response to receiving an execution instruction of the received job data.

A document determination system includes a server device that stores identification information in association with document information, a printer that prints a document image corresponding to the document information and a code image indicating the identification information on a print medium to generate a normal printed matter, and a scanner that reads a print image printed on a printed matter including the normal printed matter and a copied printed matter obtained by copying the normal printed matter. The printer prints the code image in a preset end region of the print medium. The server device determines whether the printed matter is the normal printed matter based on the code image included in the print image read by the scanner.
