Lighting and Power Devices and Modules
Electronic device cases and lighting and power devices and modules are described. A case for a portable electronic device may include a rim portion defining an opening for a display of the portable electronic device and one or more light sources adjacent to the rim portion. A lighting device may include one or more light sources for illuminating a user's face during use of a camera of a portable electronic device, and a power member for providing power to the one or more light sources. A lighting module may include a plurality of lighting devices. A power module having a battery may be configured to provide power to a portable electronic device.
ELECTRONIC DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SYNCHRONIZATION OF VIDEOS
An electronic device including circuitry is provided. The circuitry generates a synchronization signal. The circuitry controls drive of one or more light-emitting devices based on the synchronization signal to generate a pattern of alternating light pulses. The circuitry further acquires a plurality of videos of the pattern of alternating light pulses from a plurality of imaging devices. The one or more light-emitting devices are positioned in a field of view of each of the plurality of imaging devices. The circuitry determines a frame in each video of the plurality of videos that includes a specific portion of the pattern of alternating light pulses. The determined frame in each of the plurality of videos corresponds to the same time instant. The circuitry synchronizes the plurality of videos based on the determination.
OPTIMIZATION OF LIP SYNCING IN NATURAL LANGUAGE TRANSLATED VIDEO
An approach for generating an optimized video of a speaker, translated from a source language into a target language with the speaker's lips synchronized to the translated speech, while balancing optimization of the translation into a target language. A source video may be fed into a neural machine translation model. The model may synthesize a plurality of potential translations. the translations may be received by a generative adversarial network which generates video for each translation and classifies the translations as in-sync or out of sync. A lip-syncing score may be for each of the generated videos that are classified as in-sync.
Flash control apparatus, method, image capture apparatus, flash, and storage medium
A control apparatus configured to control a flash such that the flash emits light in synchronization with exposure of an image capture apparatus, includes a wireless communication device configured to perform wireless communication with the flash; and a controller configured to control the wireless communication device, wherein in a period from when the image capture apparatus starts exposure to when the flash emits light, the wireless communication device repeatedly transmits a signal to the flash at a predetermined time interval in order to prevent the flash from transitioning to a power-saving state.
Enhanced synchronization framework
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium that provides an enhanced synchronization framework. One of the methods includes a primary and a second device that receive configuration information which identifies one or more actions to be performed by the secondary device when it receives specified pulses of a sequence of pulses from the primary device. The primary device transmits a sequence of pulses. The primary and the secondary device receive a particular pulse from the sequence of pulses. The secondary device determines whether the particular pulse satisfies one or more predetermined criteria and generates an instruction based on the determination.
