In an example, a method also includes facilitating capture of an image of the scene by at least adjusting focus of a camera corresponding to the depth information of the two or more objects that are selected.

After the mobile unit changes the relative position to a first relative position in which the optical axis of the image capturing unit deviates from the container, the image capturing unit images the identification surface via the light guide unit, and, after the mobile unit changes the relative position to a second relative position in which the optical axis of the image capturing unit intersects the container, the image capturing unit images the sample via the bottom surface.

An image capturing apparatus and a photo composition method thereof are proposed. The method is adapted to an image capturing apparatus having a first lens and a depth sensor and includes the following steps. First, a preview frame of a scene is obtained by using the first lens, and depth information of the scene is obtained by using the depth sensor. Next, scene analysis is performed on the preview frame according to the depth information so as to generate a scene analysis result. Next, whether the preview frame satisfies a photo composition requirement is determined according to the scene analysis result and a corresponding photo composition rule. If yes, the first lens is controlled to capture the preview frame; if no, a photo composition suggestion corresponding to the scene is provided according to the photo composition rule corresponding to the scene analysis result.
Method and system for performing adaptive image acquisition
An adaptive image acquisition system and method that generates virtual view of a surveillance scene to a user (operator), in which, the user operates the system. Through viewing the virtual view, the user controls sensors that create the virtual view. The sensors comprise at least one first sensor having a higher resolution than at least one second sensor. Images from the second sensor are processed to create an image mosaic that is overlaid with images from the higher resolution first sensor. In one embodiment of the invention, the first sensor is moved using Saccade motion. In another embodiment of the invention, a user's intent is used to control the Saccade motion.
