Intelligently characterizing reservoirs via fluorescent imaging rock cuttings
A method includes taking at least one image of a plurality of returned cuttings from a well using a fluorescent imaging camera, analyzing the at least one image with an imaging processing system to obtain detection data including a calculated percentage of a first emitted fluorescent light to formation cuttings, sending the detection data to an analysis and control program to correlate the returned cuttings with a depth in the well, and automatically controlling at least one drilling parameter for drilling the well based on the detection data.
Electric shaver with imaging capability
System and method for improving the shaving experience by providing improved visibility of the skin shaving area. A digital camera is integrated with the electric shaver for close image capturing of shaving area, and displaying it on a display unit. The display unit can be integral part of the electric shaver casing, or housed in a separated device which receives the image via a communication channel. The communication channel can be wireless (using radio, audio or light) or wired, such as dedicated cabling or using powerline communication. A light source is used to better illuminate the shaving area. Video compression and digital image processing techniques are used for providing for improved shaving results. The wired communication medium can simultaneously be used also for carrying power from the electric shaver assembly to the display unit, or from the display unit to the electric shaver.

Method and apparatus for recognizing object material using spatial image and spatial radar information
Provided is a method and apparatus for recognizing material of objects by extracting physical properties of objects in a camera photo based on the combined analysis of information obtained by a camera and a radar unit.
TV with integrated wireless power transmitter
Disclosed here is a TV system with an integrated wireless power transmitter. The wireless power transmitter enables the TV system to provide a power source in the form of pockets of energy. A wireless power receiver may be coupled to the electrical devices to receive an electrical power source and transfer it to the electrical device. The receivers in the devices may capture energy from the pockets of energy formed by the wireless transmitter component in the TV system in order to power an electrical device.

Night Vision Apparatus
A night vision apparatus having a camera assembly with a camera housing that has a charge-coupled device image sensor, an infrared illuminator assembly, and a first base assembly. Further having a switch assembly and a display assembly. The camera housing has a top face, a bottom face, a front face, a lens, and an adaptor. The lens has a focal length of approximately 25 mm or 50 mm. The infrared illuminator assembly has a housing, an infrared illuminator lens, an infrared illuminator, and a supporting structure. The infrared illuminator is an approximately 2.5 watt illuminator that produces an approximately 10° main beam pattern. The infrared illuminator assembly is attached to the camera housing. The first base assembly has a suction cup secures the camera assembly onto a surface. The switch assembly is electrically connected to a battery assembly. The display receives and shows images captured by the camera assembly.
