TRANSMITTING APPARATUS, STEREO IMAGE DATA TRANSMITTING METHOD, RECEIVING APPARATUS, AND STEREO IMAGE DATA RECEIVING METHOD
Transmission of stereo image data may be performed between devices, where a source device receives E-EDID from a sink device via DDC of an HDMI cable. This E-EDID contains information on 3D image data transmission modes supportable by the sink device. Based on information on 3D image data transmission modes from the sink device, the source device selects a predetermined transmission mode from among the 3D image data transmission modes supportable by the sink device. The source device transmits 3D image data in the selected transmission mode to the sink device. The source device transmits information on the transmission mode for the 3D image data, to the sink device by using an AVI InfoFrame packet or the like. The sink device processes the 3D image data received from the source device in accordance with its transmission mode, thereby obtaining left and right eye image data.
Vehicle entertainment tablet unit and cradle
A vehicle entertainment system includes a tablet unit and a cradle. The tablet unit includes a display and a touch screen input device disposed on a front surface, a first electrical connection, a first mounting mechanism, and a wireless receiver. The wireless receiver is configured to receive media data from a wireless network and the touch screen input device is configured to receive input from a user. The cradle is disposed in a headrest in a vehicle and includes a second electrical connection and a second mounting mechanism. The tablet unit is electrically connected to the cradle via the first and second electrical connections, and is physically coupled to the cradle via the first and second mounting mechanisms upon mounting the tablet unit to the cradle.
RIG POWER SYSTEM EFFICIENCY OPTIMIZATION THROUGH IMAGE PROCESSING
A method includes receiving, by a computer system, a video of a visible state of a component of a generator, the generator powering at least a portion of a rig equipment system at a wellsite. The computer system can determine an operational parameter based on the visible state of the component of the generator imaged in the video, and can transmit the operational parameter to an output device.

Method and Apparatus for Improving Transmission of Transport Video Signal
A method and an apparatus for improving digital video signal transmission over a long transmission line are disclosed. A simple equalization reference signal is generated and then combined with a digital video signal in the digital domain such that the transmission of the reference signal takes place at a predefined time period during the vertical blanking interval of the video signal. The combined signal is then converted into an analog video transport signal, which analog signal is then transmitted over the long transmission line to a downstream video receiver. The equalization reference signal is extracted and used at the video receiver to restore the analog video signal which in turn is converted back to digital video signal.

INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS AND METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM, AND PROGRAM
The present invention propose an broadcast reception system, wherein a program reception control apparatus is connected to Internet via a network interface to which a terminal apparatus carrying by a user. The broadcast received at an antenna is selected by a tuner, A/D converted, compressed at a compression unit, and encrypted at an encryption unit. The encrypted data from the encryption unit changed to packets at packet creation unit, and transmitted to the terminal apparatus via the network interface. A User is able to view the program in real time before the end of the broadcast for the program by successively creating data based on the received data, and transmitting them.
Error correction data in a video transmission signal
A transmitter transmits a raster-type video signal. For each one of a plurality of active video segments of a frame of the video signal, the transmitter derives redundant data from the respective active video segment and inserts the redundant data into a horizontal blanking segment of the video signal.
