Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing a dual-purpose millimeter-wave frequency band transmitter are disclosed. A system includes a dual-purpose transmitter sending a video stream over a wireless link to a receiver. In some embodiments, the video stream is generated as part of an augmented reality (AR) or virtual reality (VR) application. The transmitter operates in a first mode to scan and map an environment of the transmitter and receiver. The transmitter generates radio frequency (RF) signals in a first frequency range while operating in the first mode. Additionally, the transmitter operates in a second mode to send video data to the receiver, and the transmitter generates RF signals in the first frequency range while operating in the second mode.

Disclosed are a method, an apparatus, and a system for implementing video stream switching. The method can determine switching reference information of a first reference frame trailer packet of a first video stream and switching reference information of a second reference frame trailer packet of a second video stream, when receiving a switching instruction; and switch from the first video stream sent through the target egress port to the second video stream based on the switching reference information of the first switching packet and the switching reference information of the second switching packet. Because locations of data packets sent before and after switching are considered during video stream switching, damage caused by a switching operation to a transmitted video image can be effectively reduced.

Disclosed are a method, an apparatus, and a system for implementing video stream switching. The method can determine switching reference information of a first reference frame trailer packet of a first video stream and switching reference information of a second reference frame trailer packet of a second video stream, when receiving a switching instruction; and switch from the first video stream sent through the target egress port to the second video stream based on the switching reference information of the first switching packet and the switching reference information of the second switching packet. Disclosed is a display device including, from a front face towards a rear face, a panel, a ground plane, and a processing unit connected to the panel and including an antenna for receiving and/or emitting a wave for connection to a wireless network. The display device further includes a plurality of adjustable elements connected to the processing unit, each adjustable element having an impedance which can be modified by the processing unit in order to change the manner in which the wave is reflected and/or transmitted by the adjustable elements, these adjustable elements being located on the rear side of the ground plane.

An image forming apparatus includes a housing and a first process cartridge. The first process cartridge is attachable to and detachable from the housing. The first process cartridge includes a first photosensitive drum, a first developing roller, and a developing frame. The developing frame has a toner inlet opening. A toner cartridge has a toner supply opening. The toner cartridge is positioned above the developing frame such that the toner supply opening and the toner inlet opening face with each other in upward/downward direction. In the state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is attached to the housing, the toner cartridge is incapable of being detached from the first process cartridge. In a state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is detached from the housing, the toner cartridge is detachable from the first process cartridge.

An image forming apparatus includes a housing and a first process cartridge. The first process cartridge is attachable to and detachable from the housing. The first process cartridge includes a first photosensitive drum, a first developing roller, and a developing frame. The developing frame has a toner inlet opening. A toner cartridge has a toner supply opening. The toner cartridge is positioned above the developing frame such that the toner supply opening and the toner inlet opening face with each other in upward/downward direction. In the state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is attached to the housing, the toner cartridge is incapable of being detached from the first process cartridge. In a state where the first process cartridge to which the toner cartridge is attached is detached from the housing, the toner cartridge is detachable from the first process cartridge.

A hearing aid system for individual identification of a hearing aid system may include a wearable camera, a microphone, and at least one processor. The processor may be programmed to receive a plurality of images captured by the wearable camera; receive audio signals representative of sounds captured by the microphone; and identify a first audio signal, from among the received audio signals, representative of a voice of a first individual. The processor may transcribe and store, in a memory, text corresponding to speech associated with the voice of the first individual and determine whether the first individual is a recognized individual. If the first individual is a recognized individual, the processor may associate an identifier of the first recognized individual with the stored text corresponding to the speech associated with the voice of the first individual.
