LIGHT GUIDE PLATE APPARATUS AND IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS
To provide a light guide plate apparatus capable of accurately guiding incident light. A light guide plate apparatus according to the present technology includes: a plurality of stacked light guide plates; a first optical system that causes incident light to enter each of the plurality of light guide plates so as to satisfy a total internal reflection condition inside the light guide plate; a second optical system that causes the light propagating inside each of the plurality of light guide plates while being totally internally reflected to be emitted outward from the light guide plate; and at least one spacer provided between two adjacent light guide plates of the plurality of light guide plates, in which the spacer is arranged at a position deviated from a total internal reflection position of the light in opposite surfaces of each of the two adjacent light guide plates.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus includes: a display panel; a housing provided to receive the display panel and comprising a rear cover; a rotation device coupled to a rear side of the rear cover and configured to rotate the housing; a cable provided on the rear side of the rear cover and configured to be connected to a first electrical component in the housing; a first guide holder configured to be detachable from the rear side of the rear cover and to guide and hold the cable, and a second guide holder fixed to the rotation device and configured to guide and hold the cable.
Display device and control method thereof
A display device comprises: a motor; a display; a plurality of speakers provided in a plurality of regions of the display; and at least one processor. The at least one processor being configured to output a plurality of audio signals corresponding to a plurality of audio channels to the plurality of speakers, control the motor to rotate the display, based on an input of a user command for rotating the display, and control the plurality of speakers to output the plurality of audio signals in response to a change in positions of the plurality of speakers based on a rotation of the display.
Head-mounted display
A head-mounted display according to the present embodiment includes a combiner which is aspherical, arranged in front of a user, and configured to reflect display light for forming a display image toward the user, and a beam splitter which is arranged between the combiner and the user, and configured to reflect the display light to the combiner and transmit display light reflected by the concave mirror. In an optical system, in a range outside the effective viewing angle, the distortion exceeds 5% and increases toward an outside of a viewing field.
IMAGE PROJECTION APPARATUS
An image projection apparatus includes a first image irradiation unit, a light guide plate unit, and a diffraction grating unit. The first image irradiation unit is configured to emit first light. The light guide plate unit includes a first light incidence unit, an optical waveguide unit, and a first light emission unit. The first light incidence unit on which the first light is incident. The optical waveguide unit is configured to guide a part of the first light as guided light while totally reflecting the part of the first light. The first light emission unit is configured to emit a part of the guided light in a viewpoint direction. The diffraction grating unit is provided in the first light incidence unit. The first light emission unit includes a beam splitter provided in the optical waveguide unit and a retroreflection unit provided at an end of the optical waveguide unit.
PANEL VIBRATION TYPE SOUND GENERATING DISPLAY DEVICE
Disclosed is a display device that includes a display panel, sound generating actuators including a first sound generating actuator in a first area of the display panel and a second sound generating actuator in a second area of the display panel, the first and second sound generating actuators configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound, and a partition between the first sound generating actuator and the second sound generating actuator.
DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device is provided with a display, a rear frame disposed on a rear side of the display, a speaker attached to the rear frame such that a tilt angle of the speaker with respect to the rear frame is changeable, a cover member attached to the rear frame to cover the speaker such that the speaker is located inside the cover member, and an angle change mechanism configured to change the tilt angle of the speaker with respect to the rear frame from outside the cover member while the speaker is covered by the cover member.
UHD HDR IP client device
A robust, reliable, and efficient UHD HDR Internet Protocol IP client device, such as a set top box, receives content, for example, from a cable service provider so that the content can be displayed to a compatible display device with improved visual effect. The content is 4K or higher content that requires UHD/HDR for a satisfactory user experience. The UHD provides for an improved resolution of the content while HDR provides for a more intense or greater contrast range of the content when displayed on a compatible display device.
