Methods and apparatus for automatic TV on/off detection
Methods and apparatus to determine a power state of an information presentation device. The method includes measuring power drawn by the information presentation device during a calibration period to generate a log of measurement values, determining, by executing an instruction with a processor, respective counts indicating respective numbers of times respective different ones of the measurement values were detected during the calibration period, and determining, by executing an instruction with the processor, a first threshold based on at least one of the counts. The method also includes determining whether the presentation device is in an ON state based on a comparison of measured power drawn by the information presentation device after the calibration period to the first threshold.
EYEGLASSES-TYPE WEARABLE INFORMATION TERMINAL, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
This invention provides an eyeglasses-type wearable information terminal including a position detector that detects a position, and a display controller that displays a map image for guidance to a destination to perform display suitable for a current situation during guidance to the destination. Here, as a characteristic feature, the display controller changes the transmittance of display of the map image in accordance with the distance between a current place and a point to change a traveling direction. This makes it possible to reliably change the traveling direction at the point to change the traveling direction.
STAND AND TELEVISION APPARATUS
A stand and a television apparatus capable of reducing limitations in design with respect to a base section are provided. A stand used for holding a display apparatus is provided. The stand includes a base section and a support section configured to rotate with respect to the base section and hold the display apparatus. The support section includes a drive unit configured to rotate a display screen of the display apparatus, and the drive unit is provided behind a back side of the display screen of the display apparatus. Preferably, the drive unit includes an electric motor and the display screen of the display apparatus is rotated by driving the electric motor.

DISPLAY APPARATUS AND CONTROL METHOD THEREOF
A display apparatus includes: a display; a bezel extended along at least a partial edge of the display and configured to cover the edge of the display; at least one signal transceiver configured to transmit a detection signal to the bezel and receive a reflection signal of the transmitted detection signal; and a controller configured to determine a touch position of a user on the bezel based on time taken from a point of time where the at least one signal transceiver transmits the detection signal to a point of time where the at least one signal transceiver receives the reflection signal.
Electronic display mounting system
An electronic sign having slotted frame cabinets whereby each slotted frame cabinet can conveniently be attached to one or more vertically or horizontally positioned adjacent slotted frame cabinets by using connecting components which are generally located around the periphery of one or more slotted frame cabinets. Connecting components, including splice bars, splice plates, and mounting clamps, are aligned in, positioned along and secured to backing bars which are co-located in backing bar slots in one or more of the slatted frame cabinets. Lift eyes can be variably located in one or more lift eye slots. The use of externally located connecting components, which do not extend through the cabinetry, minimize the entry of environmental elements into the interior of the electronic sign. Multiple slotted frame cabinets can be connected without the removal of LED display panels.

Plug-in television
The plug-in television provided by this invention integrates the master control module of the television into a plug card and separately configures the plug card and the display, and the display is mainly used to play and control the audio and video data, and the plug card is mainly used to receive and process the audio and video data; since the plug card and the display are separately configured in physical structure, it allows users to carry out the operations like repairing, maintenance, upgrading and replacement on them separately; moreover, since the display is the main structure of the television, and the plug card is plugged into the slot provided on the display to form the television, the problem in the current television field that the upgrading speed of the screen terminal device is exceedingly unmatched with the upgrading speed of the master control device is effectively solved.
