Display apparatus

Disclosed is a display apparatus which facilitates minimized thickness by innovatively removing a case and some portions of a set cover, which have been regarded as indispensable structures for the display apparatus, and simultaneously facilitates good aesthetic exterior appearance of the display apparatus by a novel design. The display apparatus comprises a set cover exposed externally and formed to have a storage space; a guide frame received in the storage space; a screw coupled to the guide frame by penetrating through the set cover so as to fix the guide frame to the set cover; a display unit placed onto the guide frame; and an adhesive member for fixedly adhering the display unit to the guide frame.

Waterproof display apparatus and method of assembling the same

A waterproof display apparatus includes an envelope, a display panel and an adhesive structure. The envelope includes an inner enclosing surface. The inner enclosing surface defines an accommodating space. The display panel is at least partially accommodated in the accommodating space of the envelope. The envelope includes a light permeable portion that allows light from the display panel to travel out of the envelope. The adhesive structure is located in the accommodating space. The adhesive structure is adhered between the inner enclosing surface of the envelope and the display panel.

A harness may be configured to carry a piece of equipment and be worn by a wearer. The harness may comprise, for example, a central mounting plate, an equipment support member configured to support the piece of equipment, one or more vertical support members, and a belt. The equipment support member, the vertical support members, and the belt may be fixedly or removably attached to the central mounting plate. In some instances, an equipment bag may be removably attached to a portion of the harness. The equipment bag may weigh about 25 pounds, and the harness may be configured to be worn for approximately 12 hours at a time. The harness may be configured to transfer the weight of the piece of equipment from the shoulders and chest to the hips and lower back of the wearer.

Display Apparatus

A display apparatus includes a display panel, a back cover accommodating the display panel, and a sound output unit including at least one sound output module disposed to overlap the display panel. The at least one sound output module includes a support plate including an uneven surface and a piezoelectric element attached on the uneven surface of the support plate and has a shape corresponding to the uneven surface of the support plate. Accordingly, a sound having a straight characteristic within an audible frequency domain may be output, thereby enhancing a sense of reality and an immersion of a viewer watching an image displayed by the display apparatus.

ILED DISPLAYS WITH SUBSTRATE HOLES

An inorganic light-emitting diode (iLED) display comprises a display substrate comprising a display area and one or more holes extending through the display substrate in the display area and a plurality of inorganic light-emitting diodes (iLEDs) disposed on, in, or over the display substrate in a regular array in the display area. At least some of the iLEDs are disposed between at least some of the holes in the display area and at least some of the holes are between at least some of the iLEDs in the display area. The display substrate can be substantially rigid and the iLED display can a flexible black sheet laminated, affixed, or adjacent to the display substrate. One or more audio loudspeakers can be disposed adjacent to the flexible sheet with the flexible sheet disposed between the display substrate and the one or more audio loudspeakers.

Modular system for controlling a liquid crystal display

A modular electrical system for controlling a liquid crystal display (LCD) contained within a chassis. The system may include a backplane in communication with a power module and video module through connectors on the back plane and respective connectors on the modules. The system may also include a timing and control board (TCON) that is in communication with the backplane via conduction lines that are provided to carry power, video signals, etc., to the TCON. Guides may be provided to ensure proper alignment of the power module and video module with the backplane. In some embodiments, the power module and video module may include input and output connectors that facilitate connection of multiple displays in a daisy chain fashion.
