Electronic display with mount-accessible components
An electronic display where various electrical components may be removed from a housing of the display and serviced or replaced without having to demount the display. The electronic display may include an electronic image-producing assembly in electrical communication with a backplane. Various electrical components (e.g., electronic assemblies) may be removably connected to the backplane using self-guiding electrical connectors. An access opening through a wall of the housing may be provided to facilitate removal of an electrical assembly through the housing while the display remains mounted to a vertical surface.
Display apparatus and television receiving apparatus
A display apparatus includes a display panel having a display surface on one surface thereof, a light guide plate disposed on the other surface side of the display panel, a substrate on which a plurality of light source elements disposed to face an end face of the light guide plate are mounted on one surface thereof, a support plate for supporting the substrate, and a frame body for covering a peripheral edge part of the display panel and the support plate, wherein the frame body and support plate have holes formed at positions thereof facing the end face, and the substrate has an insertion hole into which any one tip part of a screw or a clip fitted into the holes is inserted.
Lighting device and display apparatus
A lighting device, comprising a light guide plate being housed in a casing with an opening and having one surface facing the opening, and a light source placed to face a side surface of the light guide plate, and emitting, from the one surface of the light guide plate, light emitted from the light source and entering the light guide plate through the side surface, comprising a frame body covering an edge of the one surface of the light guide plate from a side of the one surface, wherein the frame body has a rib facing at least a part of a side surface of the light guide plate, except for a side surface at a side proximal to the light source, and extending toward a bottom surface of the casing, and the rib is configured to be capable of being bent by pressing force from the light guide plate.
Head mounted display and information processing method
In a head-mounted display for blocking out an outside world from a user's vision when worn by the user to present a video, an outside world measurement section measures outside world information. A notification information detection section detects whether or not the information measured by the outside world measurement section contains any notification information to be notified to the user. A notification section notifies the user when the notification information detection section detects notification information.
Display apparatus
Provided is a display apparatus. The display apparatus includes a display panel, a back cover disposed on a rear side of the display panel, the back cover having a curved shape of which both ends protrude forward, and a fixing part fixing the back cover to maintain the curved shape of the back cover. Display apparatus with panel supporting portion and television receiver
A display apparatus with a panel supporting portion includes a supporting body that has a plate shape and supports an end edge portion of an optical sheet. The supporting body includes a panel supporting portion in an outside end edge portion. The panel supporting portion supports an end edge portion of the display panel, and has a rib on an inside end edge portion and a fitting portion that fits one position regulating portion of an optical sheet. The rib has a cut-out portion in which a portion of the rib that corresponds to an end of the fitting portion is cut out so that a height is gradually lowered toward the fitting portion. Load application to the display panel on both end portions of the fitting portion is suppressed by the cut-out portion.
