PORTABLE HUB WITH DIGITAL VIDEO RECORDER
A portable media content device for providing media content to remote devices external to a home network, the portable media content device may include a processor in communication with a memory configured to maintain media content, and a transceiver. The processor may be configured to recognize a home network provided at a first location, instruct the transceiver to transmit a media request to an in-home media recorder connected to the home network and at the first location, receive, in response to the media request, media content from the media recorder and to store the media content in the memory.
DISPLAY DISTORTION FOR ALIGNMENT WITH A USER GAZE DIRECTION
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are disclosed for distorting a display coupled to a user device to bring the display into alignment with a gaze direction of a user of the user device. In certain scenarios, a user's gaze direction may not be aligned with a display of the user device. In such example scenarios, a user device determines a gaze direction of a user using, for example, camera means. When an event occurs, the user device determines one or more distortion elements to activate based at least in part on the gaze direction of the user. The user device then activates the distortion element(s) to cause the display of the device to distort to a position in which it is aligned with the gaze direction of the user. The distortion element(s) may be formed of an electroactive polymer configured to deform upon application of an electric field.
ANTENNA CONTROL DEVICE, HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY, ANTENNA CONTROL METHOD, AND PROGRAM
There are provided an antenna control apparatus, a head-mounted display, an antenna control method, and a program that are capable of suppressing power consumption of the head-mounted display including a plurality of antennas. A selection unit (54) selects, as an antenna to be driven, a portion of the plurality of antennas in accordance with an attitude of the head-mounted display including the plurality of antennas. An antenna control unit (56) controls only the antenna to be driven to be driven and an antenna other than the antenna to be driven to be stopped.

MOUNTING SYSTEMS FOR DIGITAL MEDIA PLAYERS
Mounting systems can attach electronic devices a wall such as the wall of a television. Electronic devices can general a substantial amount of heat that can be trapped by mounting systems. The mount ventilation systems described herein can allow cool air to flow around electronic devices. A mounting system can include a base configured to hold the electronic device, a first ventilation channel located between a first wall and a second wall of the base, and a second ventilation channel in fluid communication with the first ventilation channel. In some embodiments, the second ventilation channel extends outward from the first ventilation channel such that the second ventilation channel fluidly couples the first ventilation channel with a portion of the mounting system configured to hold the electronic device.

Display device with simplified appearance structure
A display apparatus includes a cabinet, a display panel disposed on a rear side of the cabinet to display an image toward a front side of the cabinet, a light source package disposed on a rear side of the display panel to provide light onto the display panel, a bottom cover disposed on a rear side of the light source package, the bottom cover being coupled to the cabinet to package the display panel and the light source package, a support mounted on a rear side of the bottom cover, the support including a plurality of first couplers, and a back cover covering at least part of rear side of the bottom cover, the back cover including a plurality of second couplers to be coupled with the plurality of first couplers.
Methods, systems, and media for projecting light to indicate a device status
Systems, methods, and media for projecting light to indicate a device status are provided. In accordance with some implementations of the disclosed subject matter, systems for projecting light to indicate a device status are provided, the systems comprising: a hardware processor that: determines a light status; determines whether to turn a light source on; selects a light format corresponding to the light status; projects light of a light source according to the light format; and determines whether to turn the light source off.
Information Processing Apparatus and Image Generation Method
An information processing apparatus 10 generates a reference image including information to be presented to a user in accordance with a first attitude of an HMD 100 identified at a first point in time. Based on the difference between the first attitude and a second attitude of the HMD 100 identified at a second point in time after the first point in time, the information processing apparatus 10 generates from the reference image a display image to be displayed on the HMD 100. Upon generation of the display image, the later the timing for displaying a specific image in the display image displayed on the HMD 100, the larger the amount of displacement is made by the information processing apparatus 10 between the position of the specific pixel in the display image and the position of a corresponding image in the reference image serving as the source from which to set the pixel value of the specific pixel.
WEARABLE DISPLAY, IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A wearable display according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a display unit; a detection unit; and a display control unit. The display unit is configured to be attachable to a user, the display unit including a display area that provides a field of view in real space to the user. The detection unit detects orientation of the display unit around at least one axis. The display control unit is configured to be capable of presenting a first image relating to the orientation of the display unit in the display area on the basis of an output of the detection unit. The display control unit is configure to be capable of causing, depending on a change in the orientation, the first image to move in the display area in a direction opposite to a movement direction of the display unit by a first movement amount smaller than a movement amount of the display unit.
