A display device, configured to display an image photographed by a camera mounted on a remotely controlled mobile object, includes a display part which is mountable on a head of a user and capable of displaying an image, a receiving part configured to receive a photographed image and position information of the mobile object transmitted from the mobile object, a position detection part configured to detect a position of the display part, a direction detection part configured to detect a direction of the display part, and a controller configured to control image displaying on the display part, determine whether the mobile object exists in the direction of the display part and within a particular range with respect to a position of the display part, and switch images to be displayed on the display part depending on whether the mobile object exists within the particular range or not.

Set-Top Box with Self-Monitoring and System and Method for Use of Same
20180124390 · 2018-05-03 ·

A set-top box with self-monitoring and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, a housing secures a television input, a television output, a processor, memory, and storage therein, which are communicatively interconnected by a busing architecture. The memory is accessible to the processor, and the memory includes processor-executable instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to detect when the television is not being utilized. Responsive thereto, the instructions cause the processor to scan channels received from the television input and generate a composite TV screen image data that may be resolved to a single TV screen image made from an assemblage of TV screen image captures corresponding to the scanned channels.

Image projection apparatus

An image projection apparatus that generates an image based on image data and projects the image, includes: an image generation element that uses light emitted from a light source to generate an image; a holding unit that rotatably holds the image generation element; and an illumination optical unit that includes one or more optical systems and a light tunnel that is a tubular member surrounding part of a light path from the light source to the image generation element and reflects the light by an inner surface thereof, and that projects the light passing through the light tunnel toward an entire area of a rotatable range of the image generation element.

Curved display device

A first integrated circuit disposed in a region, in which a length of a first space in a device depth direction is largest, among two regions dividing an entire region of a first main surface of a signal processing circuit board into two in a device width direction. The first space is a space between the signal processing circuit board and a metal chassis, which is a member of the metal chassis and a back cover that opposes the first main surface on which the first integrated circuit is mounted. A first heat sink is disposed between the metal chassis and the back cover and has a plurality of fins. A length of each of the plurality of fins in the device depth direction is set according to a length of the first space in the device depth direction at a position of the fin in the device width direction.
