A distance between the first coupling part and the second coupling part is adjusted depending on a position where at least one of the first coupling part and the second coupling part is coupled with the connecting part. To provide a head-mounted display excellent in portability and operability. A head-mounted display according to the present technology includes a main body and an input operation section. The main body includes a display section configured to present an image to a user and is configured to be mountable on a head of the user. The input operation section includes a first detection element that extends in a first axis direction and is provided in the main body and electrostatically detects an operation position in the first axis direction, and a first guide section that guides an input operation of the user along the first axis direction on the first detection element, and controls the image.

An audio-video (AV) system in one embodiment includes a mounting apparatus for mounting the system to a wall support located behind a wall surface and within an in-wall space. The present invention allows film distributors to distribute films to individuals directly, and better control the number of users per distribution right granted, and decreases the cost of film distribution. The present invention decreases piracy and infringement of films because the invention increases the difficulty of unauthorized video recording. The present invention also improves the user's visual effect and viewing experience by filtering the scene outside. The present invention allows user to watch films anywhere and at any time.

A display apparatus includes a frame, an image display apparatus attached to the frame, and a distortion correction apparatus. The image display apparatus includes an image forming apparatus and an optical system configured to guide an image from the image forming apparatus to a pupil of an observer. When it is assumed that a direction, which corresponds to a first direction of the image, of the image forming apparatus is an X-direction and a direction, which corresponds to a second direction of the image which direction is different from the first direction, of the image forming apparatus is a Y-direction, the image forming apparatus is curved in the X-direction and/or in the Y-direction. The distortion correction apparatus corrects an input image signal to correct a distortion of an image to be observed.

A human-pet interaction system includes a pet container, a display apparatus, a speaker, and a user apparatus. The pet container has a side plate.
