IMAGE GENERATION APPARATUS AND IMAGE GENERATION METHOD
20170160796 · 2017-06-08 · ·

A panorama image processing unit generates a wide viewing angle image like a panorama image which is seen from a given point of view. An image conversion unit converts the generated wide viewing angle image into an image of a transmission format in which the angular resolution which is a number of pixels per unit angle centered at the point of view is adjusted in response to a ray direction toward the point of view. An image provision unit transmits the image in the transmission format in which the angular resolution is adjusted to a head-mounted display unit. The head-mounted display unit converts the received image so as to conform the image to an optical characteristic of a device and displays the image on the device.

Display device

A display device includes a display screen and a frame disposed around the display device, an infrared receiver and a light guide member, wherein the light guide member has a securing surface through which the light guide member is secured to the frame, the light guide member further including a receiving end and a light exiting surface, the receiving end formed at a display side of the display device, a width of the receiving end in a direction perpendicular to the frame to which the light guide member is secured is narrower than a width of the light exiting surface in the direction. Only a narrower portion of the light guide member can be seen when a human being looks at the display device, thus improving display effect of the narrow frame of the display device.

A system for protecting a display screen of a display monitor is disclosed. The system includes a protective transparent panel, and a retention bezel. The protective transparent panel has an inner panel portion surrounded by an outer peripheral panel portion. The inner panel portion has a panel area equal to the screen viewing area, and an outer peripheral panel portion extending outwardly of the inner panel portion to overlay the monitor bezel. The retention bezel has a mounting portion and a front flange portion. The mounting portion is sized to encircle the protective transparent and the monitor housing, and the mounting portion extends rearwardly to overlay the monitor housing. The front flange portion overlays the outer peripheral panel portion, and has an inward width of between 0.1 mm and 5 mm. The mounting portion and the front flange portion have a material thickness of less than 5 mm.

Disclosed is a bag using a flexible fabric attachment flap as a hinge to pivotally attach the display panel to the outside top front area of the bag. For holding a display panel angle relative the bag front, the flexible fabric hinge includes a free section allowing an extension of the display panel to be used as a prop to hold the panel's angle. So that the display panel may be viewed by the bag wearer over the top end of the bag (vertical operating position) the bag may include a holder, for example an elastic band, to hold the bottom end of the display panel in a vertical position for viewing. The bag may include an operator body interface at the bag's bottom to stabilize the bag on the operator's body front and hold the display panel in viewing position.

DISPLAY DEVICE AND TELEVISION RECEIVER

The display device includes two stands 1 that support a chassis (holder). The stand has a strut, and the strut is fixed to the chassis with a fixing portion that encloses a back side and both horizontal sides of the strut. A first projected portion, which projects toward the strut, is formed on a second plate-like member positioned at one side of the strut, and a second projected portion, which projects at a position nearer to the back compared to the first projected portion, is formed on a third plate-like member positioned at the other side. Between the two fixing portions, positions of the second plate-like member and the third plate-like member are in reverse to each other. Due to difference in the positions of the first projected portion and the second projected portion, the two stands cannot be attached at reverse positions. Once the orientation of one fixing portion is reversed, one fixing portion becomes the other fixing portion, and the two fixing portions are common components.
