DISPLAY APPARATUS AND TELEVISION RECEIVER
To provide a display apparatus in which light leakage does not occur, load application to a display panel on both end portion sides of a fitting portion of a panel supporting portion for fitting a position regulating portion of an optical sheet is suppressed, and occurrence of void and deterioration of display quality due to variation of a cell thickness of the display panel are suppressed, and a television receiver including the display apparatus.
A body of a middle chassis forms a plate shape and a panel supporting portion that forms a plate shape and extends along an upper end edge portion is provided in the upper end edge portion of the body. A rib that extends along a lower end edge portion is provided in the lower end edge portion of the panel supporting portion. A panel supporting portion is cut out at a plurality of locations in a longitudinal direction corresponding to a position regulating portion of an optical sheet and a fitting portion is provided. The rib has a cut-out portion in which an end portion on a fitting portion side is inclined toward a body side.

MOVABLE DISPLAY DEVICE
An upper guide and a lower guide are provided on an escutcheon integrally attached to the chassis. An upper movable pin engageable with and disengageable from the upper guide, a lower movable pin engageable with and disengageable from the lower guide, and a fulcrum switching mechanism that reciprocates the upper movable pin and lower movable pin in the left-right direction are attached to a display body disposed in front of the escutcheon. The fulcrum switching mechanism makes the rotational fulcrum of the display body switchable between a first pivoting state, in which the upper movable pin is engaged with the upper guide and the lower movable pin is disengaged from the lower guide, and a second pivoting state, in which the lower movable pin is engaged with the lower guide and the upper movable pin is disengaged from the upper guide.
Hybrid rear cover and mounting bracket for electronic display
A system and method for mounting an electronic display is disclosed herein. A rear cover mounting bracket may contain a rear plate and a sidewall which surrounds a perimeter of the plate. A plurality of mounting holes may be placed within the plate to allow fastening the rear plate to a vertical surface. An electronic display assembly module may contain a thermal plate where the attachment of the rear cover mounting bracket to the module creates a plenum which can house one or more electronic components. In a preferred embodiment, the rear plate contains a pair of hooks and the module contains a pair of corresponding cylinders which can be engaged with the hooks so that the module can hang from the hooks.

All-weather enclosure for flat panel displays
A lightweight, weatherproof, protective enclosure for flat panel displays comprising a containing element in the form of an open, shallow rectangular prism with a regular network of shallow reinforcing depressions formed in its outer surface and a substantially transparent planar viewing element hingedly connected to the containing element such that when the viewing element is closed over, and sealed to, the containing element the protective enclosure forms a lightweight, monocoque structure with enhanced structural rigidity.
Electronic display with mount-accessible components
An electronic display assembly where the components can be removed and serviced or replaced without having to remove the display from its position. A backplane may be in electrical communication with the image producing assembly and may contain a plurality of blind mate connectors. Various electronic assemblies may be connected to the blind mate connectors. An access panel may provide access to the electronic assemblies so that they can be removed from the housing. N+1 power supplies may be used so that if one fails the unit would continue to operate until the failed power supply could be replaced. The electronic assemblies may be removed from the left side, right side, top, or bottom surfaces of the display housing. Any flat panel electronic display may be used.
