THERMAL MANAGEMENT OF DISPLAY SCREENS
A computer-implemented method includes receiving a video frame. The computer-implemented method further includes dividing the video frame into two or more frame regions, each of the two or more frame regions corresponding to a selectively coolable region of a display. The computer-implemented method further includes identifying one or more frame characteristics for each of the two or more frame regions. The computer-implemented method further includes determining a cooling intensity to be applied to each selectively coolable region for displaying the video frame on the display based on the one or more frame characteristics. The computer-implemented method further includes applying the cooling intensity to each selectively coolable region at an effective time before displaying the video frame on the display. A corresponding computer system and computer program product are also disclosed.

Flexibly supported video display
A method of displaying a video display system, assembling a video display system, and a video display system are disclosed. The video display system can include a flexible support, a display device detachably engaged to the flexible support, and a coupling device engaged to the flexible support and the display device at a first location on the display device.
Image display device
There is provided an image display device used by being mounted to a head or a face of a user, the image display device including a display device configured to display an image, a waveguide configured to guide the image to each of a location seen from a side of the user and a location seen from an outside of the image display device, and a control unit configured to control display of an internal image and an external image, the internal image being seen from the side of the user, the external image being seen from the outside.
Display Device
A display device includes a display module, a back plate, and a bracket; a side face of the display module facing away from a display side is fixed on a first side face of the back plate, the bracket is fixed on a second side face of the back plate facing away from the first side face; the display module includes a display panel and a first frame, the first frame being disposed on a part of the display panel close to an edge, the bracket includes a second frame, and the display panel is positioned on an inner side of a frame body formed by the first frame and the second frame.
DISPLAY DEVICE EQUIPPED WITH FRAME ASSEMBLY
Provided is a display device equipped with a frame assembly that can prevent malfunction or failure of a control substrate attributable to internal heating and which has a simplified structure enabling easy production of a compact display device. The frame assembly includes: a first frame combined with a display panel; a second frame spaced from and combined with a rear surface of the first frame; and a third frame and a fourth frame that are combined with a rear surface of the second frame in a state in which the display panel is mounted. The first and second frames have respective openings, the third frame has a width larger than that of the fourth frame in a front-and-rear direction, and an upper portion of the display panel is inclined forward when the display device is installed such that the control substrate is vertically arranged.
Image projection device
An image projection device includes: a light source that emits a laser beam; a control unit that generates an image light beam, and controls emission of the image light beam; a scan unit that scans the image light beam to convert it into scan light; a first light converging unit that is disposed before a user's eye, converges the scan light at a first convergence point near a pupil, and then irradiates the retina with the scan light to project the image on the retina; and a second light converging unit that converges the scan light at a second convergence point before the first light converging unit, and then irradiates the first light converging unit with the scan light; wherein a scan angle of the scan light is substantially the same size as a convergence angle at which the scan light converges to the first convergence point.
VIRTUAL IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS AND VIDEO DEVICE UNIT MANUFACTURING METHOD
An image display device is a self-luminous type device including a light emitting portion, and a casing portion of a display device unit has a heat dissipating structure portion through which a part of the image display device is exposed for heat dissipation. In manufacturing the display device unit, when performing simple and reliable assembly while securing a high heat dissipation characteristic, for example, by using characteristics of a silicon substrate, high accurate positioning is performed in a display device positioning portion.
