Supplementing Entertainment Content with Ambient Lighting
According to one implementation, a system for supplementing entertainment content with ambient lighting includes a computing platform having a hardware processor and a memory storing a software code. The hardware processor is configured to execute the software code to receive an entertainment content, detect one or more attributes of the entertainment content that correspond to an artistic intent of a producer of the entertainment content, and interpret the artistic intent of the producer of the entertainment content using the detected one or more attributes. The hardware processor is further configured to execute the software code to compose an ambient lighting routine as a supplement to the entertainment content based on the interpreted artistic intent.
TELEVISION SUPPORT AND MOUNTING KIT
A panel television support and mounting kit allows the consumer to employ any of the three modes of support, namely stand mount, elevated console mount and wall mount. The elevated console mount incorporates a vertical spine to elevate the panel television above the console and an offset arm to support the television over an upper shelf of the console. A mounting structure is provided that can be attached to the spine or to a wall. Pivoting and tilting is accommodated by the mounting structure.
Autonomous positioning system for in interchangeable camera devices
The invention provides a positioning system that autonomously and continuously positions interchangeable camera devices on the subject as they move allowing the camera device to leverage its native functionality without modification or connectivity to the MTDS. The embodiments of the MTDS are configured to attach and align varying size of digital cameras, video cameras, mobile devices with a camera, or smart assistants with an embedded camera, action camera, webcam or laptop with embedded camera to the stand. The MTDS tracks the movements of the user during any video conference, photography or videography session. The MTDS includes a sensor, separate from the camera on the camera device, that sends the sensor data stream to a microcontroller in the stand and a machine learning co-processor detects the presence of a person. As the speaker or subject (user) moves, the MTDS tracks their movements and directs motors in the stand to pan or tilt the stand to orient the camera device's camera at the user. Through movement of the stand, the speaker or user stays centered in the camera frame. No data connections or software integrations are required to operate the MTDS.
TELEVISION MOUNT CONCEALER ASSEMBLY
Various embodiments of a television mount concealer assembly and a method of operating the television mount concealer assembly are described. In one example, the television mount concealer assembly can include a television mount and an adjustable concealer assembly for placement behind a wall-mounted television. The adjustable concealer assembly comprising a front panel, a rear panel, a first flexible sidewall, and a second flexible sidewall. The rear panel can be configured to be placed adjacent to a wall in which a television is mounted, and the front panel can be adjusted between a first position and a second position in order to expand and contract the adjustable concealer assembly.
Display apparatus and method of controlling the same
Disclosed is a pivotable display apparatus and method thereof. The display apparatus includes a support body; a display body pivotable on the support body and displaying an image; a pivoting driver; and a processor configured to: control the pivoting driver to pivot the display body; identify whether the display body is obstructed from pivoting; and control the display body to display thereon a user interface (UI), which provides a guide in association with the pivoting of the displaying body, based on whether the display body is obstructed inform the pivoting.

IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE USING RETINAL SCANNING DISPLAY UNIT AND IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
A retinal scanning display device including an optical system emits laser light to a pupil of a user, an optical multiplexer individually receives types of laser light having different wavelengths emitted from a plurality of semiconductor lasers, which combines the types of laser light coaxially to output the combined laser light. On the optical multiplexer, a beam shaper shapes the combined laser light into a light beam having a predetermined divergence or convergence angle, and a direction-of-emission changer changes image signal corresponding to an image to be formed, the direction of emission of the light beam output through the beam shaper within at least a plane intersecting the direction of emission. Then, an optical engine formed with the semiconductor lasers, the optical multiplexer, the beam shaper and the direction-of-emission changer guides the laser light emitted from the direction-of-emission changer to the position of the pupil of the user.
Backlight having light guide plate with side surface with inclination angle and image display device
A backlight comprises a light guide plate and a light emitting element. The light guide plate has a first main surface, a second main surface opposite the first main surface, and a side surface connecting the first main surface and the second main surface, the side surface having a first region and a second region different from the first region. The light emitting element emits light toward the first region of the side surface of the light guide plate. The side surface of the light guide plate includes, in the second region of the side surface of the light guide plate, a first inclined surface that extends from an outer edge of the first main surface in an inclined manner and has an inclination angle between 52° and 83° with respect to the first main surface.

DISPLAY DEVICE
According to an aspect, a display device includes: a display panel; a first optical component serving as a switchable optical component capable of being switched between a reflection state and a transmission state of light by a reflection surface thereof; and a second optical component. The reflection surface of the first optical component that faces the display panel is arranged on a light path extending from the display panel. The second optical component has a reflection surface. The reflection surface of the second optical component is on a path of light reflected by the first optical component.
