Waveguide and video image display device
Both uniformity of brightness and uniformity of color of the outside world are seen via a waveguide. A video image is reflected by a partial reflection surface inside the waveguide that includes an incident surface on which video image light is incident, first and second internal reflection surfaces that propagate the video image light incident from the incident surface while totally reflecting the video image light, and are substantially parallel to each other. A plurality of partial reflection surfaces that reflect a part of the video image light propagating by being totally reflected by the first and second internal reflection surfaces, output the part of the video image light as output light from the first internal reflection surface to the outside of the waveguide, and transmit the part of the video image light being incident, and are disposed substantially parallel to each other inside the waveguide.
IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
An image display device according to an embodiment includes: a display panel which displays an image on a front surface of the display panel; an antenna unit which is positioned in front of the front surface of the display panel; and a front wall which accommodates the antenna unit. For example, the antenna unit overlaps the display panel in a front-back direction. For example, the front wall is disposed along a lower edge of the display panel, and protrudes forward relative to the display panel.
SPORTING EVENT TELEVISION BROADCAST EQUIPMENT AND SYSTEM
Sporting event television broadcast equipment and systems, particularly for football games, pickups live audio from the teams' coaches for inclusion in the broadcast of the game, thereby greatly enhancing the viewing experience for television viewers of the game. The audio feeds can include always-on microphone pickup from each team's head coach, as well as offensive and defensive play calls that are radioed from each team's assistant coaches to players on the field.
Actuator fixing device and panel vibration type sound-generating display device including the same
Provided are an actuator fixing device and a panel vibration type sound-generating display device including the same. A display device includes: a display panel configured to display an image, a cover bottom configured to cover the display panel, and a plurality of sound-generating actuators supported by the cover bottom, the sound-generating actuators being configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound, at least two of the sound-generating actuators being adjacent to each other.
Image generation device, image extraction device, image generation method, and image extraction method
Methods and apparatus provide for: receiving an embedded image having different information embedded in an unused area of a rectangular image format for transmitting a primary image obtained by correcting beforehand an original image in a manner canceling out the distortion thereof that appears when viewed through lenses of a head-mounted display; outputting directly to a panel of the head-mounted display the embedded image received by the receiving section; and recomposing the different information by extracting the data thereof from the unused area for the embedded image.
Display device and moving body carrying display device
In a display device, an irradiation unit includes an imaging optical system. The imaging optical system scans and irradiates a front surface of a screen with light to form an image. The light passing through the screen and output from the screen in a movement direction is incident on a projection unit as incident light. The projection unit irradiates a reflective member with the incident light to allow the reflective member to reflect the incident light to form a virtual image corresponding to the image in a target space. A locus of a focal position of the imaging optical system when the irradiation unit wholly scans the front surface of the screen is within a range between the front surface of the screen at a first position and the front surface of the screen at a second position.

Display device
Provided is a display device in which generation of a ghost can be restrained. A polarizing plate is disposed adjacently to a display section. A ¼ wavelength plate is disposed adjacently to the polarizing plate. A polarizing plate is disposed adjacently to a lens. A ¼ wavelength plate is disposed adjacently to the polarizing plate. A beam splitter is disposed between the ¼ wavelength plate and the ¼ wavelength plate. The beam splitter is disposed at such a position that the air-equivalent optical path length of light that is reflected by the polarizing plate and is thereafter reflected by the beam splitter from emission of the light from the display section to transmission of the light through the lens and the air-equivalent optical path length of light that is reflected by the beam splitter and is thereafter reflected by the polarizing plate from emission of the light from the display section to transmission of the light through the lens are equal.
Virtual image display device and image element unit
There are provided an image element configured to emit imaging light, a case member configured to house the image element, and a light shielding plate that is attached to a positioning portion provided on the case member and that defines an emission region for imaging light from the image element, thereby attaching the light shielding plate to the case member with high accuracy.
Head mounted display
A head mounted display includes a first display element and a second display element that emit light to a second portion. A first portion includes a first opening and a second opening separating from the first opening. The second portion includes a first optical element portion facing the first opening in a first direction and a second optical element portion facing the second opening in the first direction. Each of the first optical element portion and the second optical element portion of the second portion includes a reflection portion reflecting light emitted from the first display element or the second display element and a light-transmittance adjustment portion controlling a transmittance of external light travelling from the second portion toward the first portion on the basis of a signal that is output from a light-transmittance control circuit. The reflection portion is arranged between the light-transmittance adjustment portion and the first portion.
