DISPLAY MODULE AND TELEVISION
Disclosed are a display module and a television, the display module including: a back plate including a back plate body and a side wall which are integrally formed, the back plate body and the side wall together defining a mounting space, a free end of the side wall being folded so as to form a connecting flange which extends towards the back plate body, a free end of the connecting flange being folded so as to form a joining flange which extends in parallel with the back plate body; a display screen, an edge of an inside surface of the display screen being fixed to an outer surface of the joining flange; an optical film set mounted in the mounting space.
Hinge mechanism and head-mounted display including this hinge mechanism
[Object] To provide a hinge mechanism that allows a head-mounted display to be made more compact, and a head-mounted display including this hinge mechanism. [Solving Means] A hinge mechanism includes: a shaft portion; and a cable passing portion. The shaft portion supports a housing portion and a temple portion of the head-mounted display in such a way that the temple portion is capable of rotating about one axis between a closed position and an open position relative to the housing portion. The cable passing portion is adjacent to the shaft portion in a direction of the one axis, and allows a cable to pass therethrough in a direction orthogonal to the one axis.
Image generation device, image generation system, image generation method, and program for producing an augmented reality image
A rendering section renders a virtual space object to generate a computer graphics image. A superimposing section superimposes the computer graphics image on a captured real space image to generate a provisional superimposed image. A post-processing section performs post-processing on the provisional superimposed image. A chroma key generation section performs chroma key processing on the computer graphics image on the basis of depth information regarding the captured real space image, to thereby generate a chroma key image. A composing section masks the provisional superimposed image subjected to the post-processing with the chroma key image, to thereby generate a composed chroma key image. The composed chroma key image is superimposed on the captured real space image to generate an augmented reality image.
HEAD-MOUNTED DISPLAY
A predetermined convergence angle is maintained, and strength is improved. Accordingly, there are provided an image generator that generates an image, a pair of optical plates to be arranged in front of both eyes of an observer who observes the image, the pair of optical plates causing the image to be displayed, a first frame that holds the pair of optical plates, and a second frame including a to-be-fixed part, in which a fixing part to which the to-be-fixed part is fixed is provided at the central part of the first frame in the horizontal direction.
Rendering device, head-mounted display, image transmission method, and image correction method
Provided is a head-mounted display 100 for displaying images transmitted from a rendering device 200. An orientation sensor 64 detects an orientation of the head-mounted display 100. An HDMI transmission/reception unit 90 receives frame data of an image to be displayed on the head-mounted display 100 and predicted orientation information of the head-mounted display 100 that is transmitted synchronously with the frame data of the image. A re-projection unit 60 corrects the frame data of the image on the basis of a difference between a latest orientation information detected by the orientation sensor 64 and the predicted orientation information so that the frame data of the image suits a latest orientation of the head-mounted display 100.
Translucent digital display system
A digital display system includes a transparent outer protective panel, a transparent inner protective panel, and a translucent digital video display located between the outer and inner protective panels. An integrated media player is operably connected to the translucent digital video display so that full-motion videos displayed on the translucent digital video display are viewed through the outer protective panel and items can be viewed through the translucent digital video display. The digital display system can be incorporated into any environment where a product is located behind a glass enclosure such as freezers, coolers, security glass, jewelry cases, liquor cases, cosmetic cases, and the like. In retail environments, the digital display systems can also be incorporated into entry doors, windows, drive-thru windows, teller windows, and any other location where there is traditionally glass and you want to focus consumer attention obstructing the customer's line of site.

Image display device and display apparatus
An image display device includes an image formation device and an optical system that brings an image from the image formation device to an eyeball of an observer. 0 (degrees)≤ω.sub.2<ω.sub.1 is satisfied where an image-formation-device first strike point (CP.sub.1) is a point where an extended line of an optical axis of the optical system intersects with an image exit surface of the image formation device, an image-formation-device second strike point (CP.sub.2) is a point where an extended line of a pupil center line of the eyeball of the observer intersects with the image exit surface of the image formation device, ω.sub.1 represents an angle between the extended line of the optical axis of the optical system and a first normal line (NL.sub.1), and ω.sub.2 represents an angle between the extended line of the pupil center line and a second normal line (NL.sub.2).
