Foldable Screen Shade for a Display Device
The present invention relates to a lightweight, cost-effective and foldable screen shield for use with a portable electronic device. The shield has a back portion that is secured to the back of the screen, a top portion that lies horizontally above the screen to protect the screen from light and a pair of side panels covering the screen from side edges. The side panels and the top portion are collapsible, and can be secured with a pair of elastic straps or other fastener. The elastic straps are used for securing the shield device to the bezel or frame in an unfolded orientation, thereby allowing a secure attachment. The top section can be expanded and two side panels are pulled outward from the longitudinal edges. The top section and side panels form a three-sided barrier around the screen to block glare.
SUPPORTING BODY AND DISPLAY APPARATUS
There is provided a supporting body that is able to select a form of support to a display unit in accordance with a user's purpose or preference, an installation environment, or the like. The supporting body supports the display unit, and includes a first supporting unit and a second supporting unit that are detachably provided on the display unit, and a first form and a second form are configured to be selectable. In the first form, the first supporting unit is mounted at a first position of the display unit and the second supporting unit is mounted at a second position of the display unit. In the second form, the second supporting unit is mounted at the first position or a third position of the display unit, and the first supporting unit is mounted at the second position or a fourth position of the display unit.
IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS
An image display apparatus according to an embodiment of the present technology includes a first screen and a second screen. The first screen includes an image surface on which an object image is formed, the first screen obliquely projecting the object image from the image surface. The second screen includes an incident surface that is arranged parallel to the image surface and on which image light of the object image is incident, the second screen diffracting the image light in an exit direction different from a specular-reflection direction that corresponds to a direction of incidence of the image light on the incident surface, the second screen forming a virtual image parallel to the object image.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus includes: a display panel including: a display area configured to display an image, and a non-display area, at least one first sound generator in the display area, and at least one second sound generator in the non-display area, wherein each of the at least one first sound generator and the at least one second sound generator is configured to vibrate the display panel to generate sound toward a front of the display panel.
Display apparatus
A display apparatus that can surely make an image reach an observer's pupil without imposing a burden on the observer. The apparatus includes: an eyepiece optical system; and an image display apparatus including an image forming apparatus and a transfer optical system. The eyepiece optical system and the image display apparatus are spatially separated from each other, the eyepiece optical system forms an image from the transfer optical system on a retina of an observer, the image display apparatus further includes a first position detection apparatus that detects a position of the eyepiece optical system, a second position detection apparatus that detects a position of a pupil of the observer. On the basis of detected positional information of the eyepiece optical system and the pupil, the transfer optical system is controlled such that the image incident from the image forming apparatus reaches the eyepiece optical system.
Display device and method of manufacturing display device
A display device is provided and includes a display panel; and a wiring board comprising a flexible base, a terminal electrically connected to the display panel, wherein the flexible base including a first surface, a second surface on an opposite side to the first surface, and a concavity in the second surface, the wiring board is mounted on the display panel and is bent so that the wiring board is opposed to a rear surface side of the display panel, and the concavity is provided in the portion of the wiring board which is bent.
OPTICAL APPARATUS
An optical apparatus includes a display that displays an image, and an optical system that includes a filter (a reflective polarizing plate) and a lens (a half mirror surface) arranged on a downstream side and an upstream side, respectively, on an optical axis L of a display and magnifies the image by at least the lens (half mirror surface). The optical apparatus drives the lens along the optical axis L with respect to the filter by a mobile device, or changes the surface shape or the lens power of the lens having a variable surface shape or variable lens power. Thus, the optical path is folded back twice between the filter and the lens of the optical system, and the image is magnified by the lens (the half mirror surface), so that the position of the magnified virtual image can be adjusted according to the diopter of the user.
Television mounting systems
A mounting system capable of mounting objects to support structures. The mounting system includes a wall mount including a display bracket configured to hold the object, a fixed support bracket coupleable to a vertical support structure, and a linkage assembly. The linkage assembly has a low-profile stowed configuration in which the object is held in a raised position close to the support structure. The linkage assembly moves to another configuration to move the object. The object can be held in a lowered position. A biasing mechanism can facilitate convenient movement of the object.
UHD HDR IP CLIENT DEVICE
A robust, reliable, and efficient UHD HDR Internet Protocol IP client device, such as a set top box, receives content, for example, from a cable service provider so that the content can be displayed to a compatible display device with improved visual effect. The content is 4K or higher content that requires UHD/HDR for a satisfactory user experience. The UHD provides for an improved resolution of the content while HDR provides for a more intense or greater contrast range of the content when displayed on a compatible display device.
Video display control apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer readable medium
A video display control apparatus receives a video content generated by a control target device in accordance with a control operation of a user via a network and displays the received video content on a head mount display attached to the user. The video display control apparatus includes a detection unit that detects a change in a direction of face or line of sight related to the control operation and a first display control unit that generates an auxiliary pattern in which at least one of a display position and a display form changes so as to follow the detected change in the direction of the face or the line of sight related to the control operation, superimposes the auxiliary pattern on the video content, and displays the video content on the head mount display.
