A display device includes a display module from which heat is emitted; a connection rod coupled to the display module and with which the display module is mountable to a structure disposed external to the display device and spaced apart from the display module along a first direction, the connection rod lengthwise extending along the first direction; and a heat pipe disposed inside the connection rod and lengthwise extending along the first direction.
EYEGLASS -MOUNTED IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE AND IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM
Provided are an eyeglass-mounted image display device capable of adjusting the interval between, height of, and elevation/depression angle of viewers detachably attached to eyeglasses, and an image display system using the eyeglass-mounted image display device.
The eyeglass-mounted image display device includes: viewers 7 displaying an image from an endoscope serving as an image output apparatus; and eyeglasses 1 to which the viewers 7 are detachably attached via an attaching member 8. The viewers 7 are disposed in front of lenses 3 of the eyeglasses 1, and the interval between, height of, and elevation/depression angle of the viewers 7 are adjustable with the attaching member 8.
Security covers for audio/video recording and communication devices
A security cover for an audio/video recording and communication device (A/V device) comprises a front wall includes first and second apertures. The first aperture is positioned to expose a camera of the A/V device. The second aperture is positioned to expose a button of the A/V device. The security cover further includes a set of one or more adjoining sidewalls extending from the front wall and being sloped outward from the front wall. The security cover further includes a mounting surface extending about the set of sidewalls, the mounting surface being spaced from the front wall. The security cover further includes a rigid mounting frame having a first surface for abutting a support surface and a second surface, opposite the first surface, for abutting the mounting surface. The front wall, the set of sidewalls, and the rigid mounting frame together form an interior compartment to contain the A/V device.

Head-up display
Provided is a head-up display in which the characteristics for dissipating heat generated by a light source are excellent. This head-up display emits display light of a display image projected by a display device to a transmission/reflection part of the vehicle to allow a viewer to see a virtual image of the display image. The display device comprises: a substrate that has a quadrilateral heat dissipation plate having corners; and a quadrilateral light source that is provided on the heat dissipation plate, and that has corners. The heat dissipation plate is disposed such that the corners of the heat dissipation plate 61 are rotated relative to the corners of the light source.
Head-mounted display with limited horizontal rotation
[Problem] To propose a head-mounted display capable of restraining deformation or breakage of a connection member caused by concentration of an external force on the connection member. [Solution] A head-mounted display includes a frame worn on the head of a viewer and having a front part disposed in front of the viewer, and an image display device connected to a central part of the front part. The image display device includes two right and left optical modules each including an image generation device and a light guide member that is connected to the image generation device and is disposed closer as a whole to a center of the face of the viewer than the image generation device, and includes a connection member connecting the image display device to the front part. A part of the image display device is disposed so as to face a part of the front part in a front-rear direction with a predetermined gap interposed therebetween.
DISPLAY APPARATUS
A display apparatus that can surely make an image reach an observer's pupil without imposing a burden on the observer. The apparatus includes: an eyepiece optical system; and an image display apparatus including an image forming apparatus and a transfer optical system. The eyepiece optical system and the image display apparatus are spatially separated from each other, the eyepiece optical system forms an image from the transfer optical system on a retina of an observer, the image display apparatus further includes a first position detection apparatus that detects a position of the eyepiece optical system, a second position detection apparatus that detects a position of a pupil of the observer. On the basis of detected positional information of the eyepiece optical system and the pupil, the transfer optical system is controlled such that the image incident from the image forming apparatus reaches the eyepiece optical system.
HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY
A head mounted display includes a first display element and a second display element that emit light to a second portion. A first portion includes a first opening and a second opening separating from the first opening. The second portion includes a first optical element portion facing the first opening in a first direction and a second optical element portion facing the second opening in the first direction. Each of the first optical element portion and the second optical element portion of the second portion includes a reflection portion reflecting light emitted from the first display element or the second display element and a light-transmittance adjustment portion controlling a transmittance of external light travelling from the second portion toward the first portion on the basis of a signal that is output from a light-transmittance control circuit. The reflection portion is arranged between the light-transmittance adjustment portion and the first portion.
Display device, display control method, and program
The present technology relates to a display device, a display control method, and a program that enable various states of the device to be expressed in a limited region. A television receiver set includes an indicator unit disposed at least in a part of a periphery of a display unit and including indicator configured to be lit at a predetermined luminance, and an indicator control unit configured to control lighting of the indicator.
