Wearable propping display apparatus 2
The disclosed apparatus is a display panel (with electronic display) made wearable by suspending it from an operator's neck (or shoulder) by a strap and including a prop to push the display panel away from the operator's stomach/chest and into his comfortable view without using of his hands. The bottom end of the prop makes contact with the operator using an interface designed to provide lateral tipping stability and sliding stability in all directions. The display distance from the operator's face may be adjusted by adjusting the strap length. The prop may include an adjustable extension to better position the display. The apparatus may include only electromagnetic communication for computer remote control, may receive television, may connection to multiple sources with a separate telecommunication housing, may include various accessory holders, may include display panel back side controls or may include computer equipment.
Fixing apparatus, fixing method, and fixing program
Provided is a fixing apparatus which enables, when a large display is used in front of a console, easy and smooth detachment of the display itself, including touch sensor groups which respectively detect a contact with or a close approach to a display unit which is supported by a casing and which includes a display surface, from the display surface F side, and detect a contact with or a close approach to the display unit from the back surface side; and a control unit which enables detachment of the display unit from a joining arm which couples the casing and the display unit, in the case where the display unit is fixed to the joining arm, and when the contact with or the close approach from the display surface side is detected and the contact with or the close approach from the back surface side is detected.

VIRTUAL IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE
A virtual image display device that displays a virtual image by projecting a display light image to a projection area of a vehicle, includes: a low-frequency information acquisition portion that acquires attitude change information of the vehicle at a low-frequency band; a high-frequency information acquisition portion that acquires attitude change information of the vehicle at a high-frequency band; an image renderer that renders image data of the display light image corrected to reduce misalignment attributed to the attitude change at the low-frequency band; a projection optical unit that includes a display surface to display an original image based on the image data, and projects light of the original image as the display light image; and a display controller that displaces the original image to reduce the misalignment of the virtual image attributed to the attitude change at the high-frequency band.
Methods and apparatus for automatic TV on/off detection
Methods and apparatus are disclosed to determine a power state of a device. An example apparatus includes a chart generator to determine respective counts for a plurality of measurements during a calibration period, the measurements indicative of an amount of power drawn by the device, the counts indicating respective numbers of times the respective measurements were detected. The example apparatus also includes a calculator to identify a first threshold based on at least one of the counts, and determine a second threshold. The example apparatus also includes a comparator to compare a measurement to the first threshold and to the second threshold, and a state detector to store an indication that the device is in an indeterminate state if the measurement is greater than the first threshold and less than the second threshold.

Body pillow and video communication system
In an exemplary embodiment, a body pillow 1 includes: a cushion part 10 of hollow construction made of a transparent and flexible material; leg parts 20 extending downward from the bottom face of the cushion part to create an air flow passage S underneath the bottom face; and affixing means 40 for affixing video playback devices 30 to the bottom face of the cushion part with their video display surfaces 31 facing up. The body pillow has video playback devices provided on the bottom face of a transparent cushion part, so the user can view a video in various postures such as lying face down, face up, or sideways.

OPTICAL DETECTING DEVICE
An optical detecting device includes a receiving box and a telescopic arm. The receiving box includes an electrical connection port and a first conductive portion electrically connected to the electrical connection port. The telescopic arm is slidably disposed in the receiving box and includes an optical sensor and a second conductive portion electrically connected to the optical sensor. When the telescopic arm and the receiving box are in different sensing positions, the first conductive portion is electrically connected to the second conductive portion.
