HEAD MOUNTED DISPLAY DEVICE
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a head mounted display for aircraft in which astigmatism is reduced so that a display image with a wide visual field can be observed. A reflection surface (10a) of a visor (10), onto which display light is projected from a projection optical system (12), does not have a spherical shape but an aspherical shape whose curvature in the vertical direction is smaller than in the horizontal direction. This difference in curvature eliminates the difference in optical power due to a difference in the incident angle on the reflection surface (10a) and reduces the amount of astigmatism. An intermediate image is formed in both the vertical and horizontal directions within the projection optical system (12) or in the middle of an optical path from the projection optical system (12) to the reflection surface (10a). This increases the degree of freedom of the arrangement of optical elements and allows for the reduction in size and weight of the device.
PROTECTIVE DISPLAY MONITOR COVER AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A protective display monitor cover for safeguarding a display monitor from injury caused by broken glass from the display monitor. The cover includes a substantially transparent glass panel configured to cover the active display area of the display monitor. The cover has a rim attached to, and surrounding the perimeter, of the glass panel. The exterior surface of the glass panel is flush with the front surface of the rim. A transparent film is applied on, and adhered to, the exterior surface of the glass panel and the front surface of the rim. The film extends sufficiently onto the front surface of the rim such that the film remains adhered to the rim upon an impact to the glass panel which breaks the glass panel, thereby containing any broken glass from the cover and/or display monitor from escaping the cover.

Display device having display panel and a case that covers an edge of the display panel
Provided is a display device which may include a display panel having a long side in a first direction, a short side in a second direction, and a thickness in a third direction, a back cabinet disposed in the rear of the display panel, and a case that covers an edge of a front surface of the display panel. The case may include a horizontal case that covers an edge of the front surface of the display panel on a long side of the display panel and a vertical case covering an edge of the front surface of the display panel on a short side of the display panel. The horizontal case and the vertical case may be coupled to each other in a region corresponding to a corner of the display panel, and the horizontal case and the vertical case may be formed of different materials.
Display device
A display device includes a signal processor, a display component, a substrate, and a conductive housing. The signal processor includes an oscillator that outputs oscillation signal, the signal processor processing signal whose frequency is higher than a specific threshold. The display component displays video. The substrate has a ground component, the signal processor being disposed on the substrate. The conductive housing is connected to a first site of the ground component and to a second site that is different from the first site. The first site and the second site are disposed at positions where a first area of the housing that is an odd-numbered multiple of wavelength of the oscillation signal away from the first site overlaps at least part of a second area of the housing that is a multiple of wavelength of the oscillation signal away from the second site.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
Methods and apparatus provide for controlling an information processing apparatus that is connected to a video display apparatus worn on a head of a user, the method comprising: displaying a planar video on the video display apparatus in a display mode that changes a shape of the planar video as a function of a change in position and/or orientation of the video display apparatus.

EYEGLASSES-TYPE WEARABLE TERMINAL, CONTROL METHOD THEREOF, AND CONTROL PROGRAM
There is provided an eyeglasses-type wearable terminal that causes a user to more reliably recognize the position of a predetermined object, which includes an image capturing unit that captures the periphery of the user. The eyeglasses-type wearable terminal also includes a determiner that determines whether a predetermined target object is included in a video acquired by image capturing using the image capturing unit. The eyeglasses-type wearable terminal further includes a display unit that displays the position of the predetermined target object in a case in which the determiner determines that the predetermined target object is included.
