Method and apparatus for detecting and tracking target, electronic device and storage media
A method and apparatus for detecting and tracking a target, an electronic device and a storage medium are provided. The method includes: cameras, detection modules, tracking modules and storage queues are provided in advance; the numbers of cameras, storage queues and tracking modules are equal, and there is a one-to-one correspondence between the cameras and the storage queues and between the cameras and the tracking modules; distributing data streams collected by the cameras to the plurality of detection modules; detecting, by the detection modules, the received data streams, and sending detection results of the data streams collected by the cameras, to the storage queues corresponding to the cameras; and extracting, by the tracking modules corresponding to the cameras, the detection results from the storage queues corresponding to the cameras, and using the detection results for tracking the target.
Device identification and power state determination using media device information
Methods, systems, and apparatuses are described for determining a power state of a device. Identification data may be received, e.g., in a media device hub, from one or more devices coupled to the device hub. In some example implementations, the devices coupled to the device hub may comprise an intermediate device coupled to the hub via a first multimedia cable and a sink media device coupled to the intermediate device via a second multimedia cable. Attributes may be identified in the received identification data, such as attributes relating to one or more of the coupled devices. The attributes may be associated with one or more of the devices that are coupled to the device hub. Based on an association of attributes, a power state of one or more of the devices coupled to the hub may be determined.

Providing advanced playback and control functionality to video client
Systems and methods for providing playback features to a device are disclosed. A manifest may be generated, which may comprise data associated with a content asset. A state file may be generated, which may comprise data associated with the manifest. Using one or more of the manifest and the state file, a device may modify segments of the content asset or may playback segments of the content asset.
Content management system and method for use of same
A content management system and method for use of same is disclosed. In one embodiment of the system, the set-top box is configured to receive a source signal which includes a stream of network programming having time slots interposed therein. The set-top box detects signaling data indicative of a designated time slot within the network programming and responsive thereto, interposes content stored at the set-top box at the designated time slot within the network programming. The set-top box then forwards the interposed content to the display. Following the forwarding of the interposed content, the set-top box returns to receiving network programming and forwarding the network programming to the display. The set-top box also provides confirmation of the displayed interposed content to a server, which may map the confirmation information.
Content management in over-the-top services
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, determining an ad play list for an Over-The-Top video stream requested by an end user device based on a price and/or a category of a creative derived from auctions with multiple Supply-Side Platform servers. The ad play list can be determined for the ad pod according to business rules, which can include a yield policy based on increasing revenue for a publisher of the video stream, and/or which can include a competitive separation policy enforced based on the category for bid responses. Other embodiments are disclosed.
VIDEO PROCESSING APPARATUS, VIDEO PROCESSING METHOD, A NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM, AND VIDEO PROCESSING SYSTEM
According to one embodiment, a video processing apparatus includes: a video obtaining unit configured to obtain a video image taken by a video camera; a supplementary information reading unit configured to detect a supplementary information tag recorded in the video image obtained by the video obtaining unit, and read supplementary information in an additional information file; an additional information file obtaining unit configured to obtain the additional information file, based on the supplementary information read by the supplementary information reading unit; and an additional information generation unit configured to generate additional information from the additional information file obtained by the additional information file obtaining unit.
Dynamic content reordering
In various example embodiments, a system and method for dynamically ordering content and discrete content segments are presented. A set of discrete content segments is received having a first order for distributing the set of discrete content segments during a display of a media stream. Each discrete content segment includes a set of ordering factors. Event data is received. The event data is representative of a set of events depicted by the media stream. A set of event instances is determined from the event data representing the set of events depicted by the media stream. A second order is generated for the set of discrete content segments based on the set of event instances and the sets of ordering factors.
System and method for automatically identifying locations in video content for inserting advertisement breaks
An automated method is provided for identifying candidate locations in video content for inserting advertisement (ad) breaks. Each candidate location is a different offset time from the beginning of the video content. Different distinct characteristics of the video content are identified at offset times. Certain characteristics are desirable and certain other characteristics are not desirable. Candidate locations are identified which have the most desirable characteristics at particular offset times, but which do not have any of the undesirable characteristics at any of the offset times.
Transmission apparatus, transmission method, reception apparatus, and reception method
A processing load on a reception side when subtitle graphics data is superimposed on video data is alleviated. A video stream including video data is generated. A subtitle stream including bitmap data is generated, the bitmap data being obtained by converting subtitle graphics data. A container having a predetermined format containing the video stream and the subtitle stream is transmitted. The subtitle stream includes a bitmap conversion table containing conversion information of a color gamut and/or a luminance. On the reception side, subtitle graphics data having characteristics matched with those of target video data of a superimposition destination can be easily obtained by just converting the bitmap data to the subtitle graphics data by using the bitmap conversion table.
