Electronic system and display device

An electronic system is provided, which includes a host device and a display device. The host device includes a first signal conversion circuit and a first signal transmission circuit. The first signal conversion circuit is utilized for converting signals associated with the host device into a first universal serial bus signal. The display device includes a display panel, a second signal conversion circuit and a second signal transmission circuit. The second signal transmission circuit is utilized for receiving the first universal serial bus signal. The second signal conversion circuit is coupled to the second signal transmission circuit for converting the first universal serial bus signal into the signals associated with the host device. The first universal serial bus signal conforms to universal serial bus 4.0 or above version standard specification.

A video transmission apparatus (10) includes: a specified-position information acquisition unit (110) that acquires specified-position information indicating a specified position in an area to be surveilled including each imaging region corresponding to each of a plurality of imaging apparatuses; and a video transmission control unit (120) that selects at least one imaging apparatus from among the plurality of imaging apparatuses using imaging position information indicating a position or an imaging range of each of the plurality of imaging apparatuses and the specified-position information and transmits a video captured by the selected imaging apparatus to a video sharing apparatus that is to share the video.

For example, methods may include receiving, using a network interface, packets that each respectively include a primary frame and one or more preceding frames from the sequence of frames of data that are separated from the primary frame in the sequence of frames by a respective multiple of a stride parameter; storing the frames of the packets in a buffer with entries that each hold the primary frame and the one or more preceding frames of a packet; reading a first frame from the buffer as the primary frame from one of the entries; determining that a packet with a primary frame that is a next frame in the sequence has been lost; and, responsive to the determination, reading the next frame from the buffer as a preceding frame from one of the entries.
