10440686 · 2019-10-08 · ·

An X-ray imaging device includes a first wireless communication module coupled to a first set of antennas; a second wireless communication module coupled to a second set of antennas; and a controller that is coupled to the first wireless communication module and the second wireless communication module. The controller is configured to receive a first value for a wireless performance metric for the first wireless communication module while the X-ray imaging device, receive a second value for the wireless performance metric for the second wireless communication module while the X-ray imaging device, based on the first value and the second value, determine a first wireless communication function to be performed by the first wireless communication module, and cause the first wireless communication module to perform the first wireless communication function.

Multi-link transportation of media, video and other data of the type having multiple layers, streams and/or encodings is contemplated. The multi-link transportation may be facilitated with a scheduler configured to schedule the various layers, streams, encodings, etc. for transportation over selectable communication links, such as based on reliability, capacity and/or other operating characteristics.

Three-Dimensional Visual Display Including Directly Lit Diffusers

A display apparatus uses a LED array having a LED pixel pitch, having LED pixels emitting light with viewing angles . A transmissive diffuser panel is mounted with the LED array, having a directly lit, non-planar diffuser panel surface spaced away from the LED array by at least distance D. The distance D and the viewing angles being are effective to merge illumination from multiple LED pixels in the LED array on the directly lit diffuser panel surface. A controller is connected to the LED array having circuitry to control the LED array in response to image data to induce display via the diffuser panel of a time varying image with spatially varying colors and intensities.

An embodiment of the present invention includes a technique to provide multiple focus controls. First and second focus managers manage first and second focus owners, respectively. The first and second focus owners correspond to components of media planes displayable on at least one of a plurality of output display devices. The first and second focus managers associate first and second key events generated by first and second input devices, respectively, to the respective first and second focus owners. A router has a routing table that stores information of association between first and second connections and the first and second focus managers, respectively. The router routes one of the first and second key events originating from the respective connection to a corresponding focus manager using the routing table.
