Video conference system
A video conference system including a transmitter device and a receiver device is provided. The transmitter device includes a transmitter control unit, a transmitter input interface, a transmitter video circuit and a first wireless transmission module. The transmitter control unit is coupled to a video output port of an information system and receive a first video data from the video output port. The transmitter input interface receives a second video data from a first video source. The transmitter video circuit combines the first video data and the second video data as a combined video data. The first wireless transmission module transmits the combined video data to the receiver device. The receiver device, coupled to the display device, includes a second wireless transmission module, which receives the combined video data. The receiver device transmits the combined video data to the display device.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SIGNAL TRANSMISSION
The present disclosure relates to systems and methods for transmitting a plurality of channels of primary analog signals to at least one terminal device. The method may include combining, by a signal combining device, the plurality of channels of primary analog signals into a combined analog signal. The method may also include transmitting, by the signal combining device, the combined analog signal to a signal dividing device via a cable. The method may further include dividing, by the signal dividing device, the combined analog signal into a plurality of channels of divided analog signals, each of the plurality of channels of divided analog signals corresponding to one of the plurality of channels of primary analog signals. The method may still further include transmitting, by the signal dividing device, the plurality of channels of divided analog signals to the at least one terminal device.
Sharing videos having dynamic overlays
Techniques are described that enable a user to share videos having dynamic overlays on a social networking system. In some examples, a server computing device may receive, at a first time from a first client device, a first video. For instance, the server computing device may begin receiving the first video after the first client device has concluded capturing the first video, but has not yet completed customizing the first video. The server computing device may receive, at a second time after the first time and from the first client device, a dynamic overlay including customizations to be applied to the first video. The dynamic overlay may be transmitted separately from the first video. In examples, the server computing device generates a second video by applying the dynamic overlay to the first video. The server computing device then provides the second video to a second client device.

Selected forwarding between serially chained devices
In described examples, a receiver includes a receiver input adapted to receive input data. A selector is coupled to an output of the receiver and is configured to generate a destination indication at an output of the selector. A switch is coupled to the receiver input. The switch is adapted to generate a first transmission at a switch local output in response to an indication of the selector output and the input data. The switch is further adapted to generate a second transmission at a switch system output in response to the input data. The switch local output is adapted to be coupled to a first destination node, and the switch system output is adapted to be coupled to a second destination node.
System for providing a virtual focus group facility
A platform configured to provide virtual glass in order to augment and improve focus group sessions for each actor within the ecosystem. The platform may be configured to allow a moderator, one or more test subjects, and one or more client users to participate in a focus group session at geographically diverse locations. The platform may also be configured to supplement the focus group experience by allowing for dialog and communication between the client users. In some cases, the platform may also be configured to generate and provide real time status indicators associate with the tests subject, real time text-based transcripts of the sessions, and recommendations as to the focus group direction to the moderator.

System and method for targeting individuals with advertisement spots during national broadcast and cable television
The present invention relates to methods and systems for targeting and retargeting individuals with advertisement spots during television broadcasting. The method and system enable an advertiser for identifying and categorizing a set of viewers or individuals for retargeting advertisement based on parameters such as, but not limited to, interests or preferences of the individuals, past purchases and interactions of the individuals with the advertiser. The method and system further enable the advertiser to segregate the plurality of individuals into subgroups on the basis of information such as, but not limited to, demography, psychographic and behavioral characteristics of the plurality of individuals. The method and system then enable the advertiser to define one or more advertisement spots and corresponding advertisements to be delivered to different sub groups of individuals based on the categorization. Thereafter, the method and system retarget individuals by sending individualized messages in the one or more advertisement spots.
System and method for providing wide-area imaging and communications capability to a handheld device
This invention provides a system and method for utilizing a wireless, handheld communication device to image a scene in multiple directions, so as to include multiple parties in addition to the user, and also, optionally, to project images on a plurality of display screens—for example a user-facing screen on the front face of the phone and an opposing screen on the rear/back face of the phone that faces (e.g.) a chat participant other than the user (an audience). The housing of the smartphone is adapted to provide a multi-camera and multi-screen arrangement. More particularly, the housing of the smartphone is adapted to include (at least) a front-directed camera and a rear-directed camera on respective front and rear faces, and openings along the left and right side edges for small-scale cameras and associated protective windows that are directed to image the left and right areas adjacent to the phone.
CAPTION ENCODER SYSTEM AND METHOD
A caption encoder system is provided that can include a computer system and a caption encoder card. The caption encoder card can include a caption encoder module having at least one of: an input component, a field programmable gate array (FPGA), a microcontroller unit (MCU), a peripheral component interconnect express (PCIe) bridge, and a plurality of output components. The input component can be configured to receive an input SDI stream. The FPGA can be in communication with the input component and can be configured to compile an output SDI stream with embedded closed captions. The MCU can be in communication with the FPGA. The PCIe bridge can be in communication with the microcontroller unit and a plurality of universal serial bus to serial devices. The plurality of output components can be communication with the field programmable gate array.
