SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR EFFICIENT TRANSMISSION OF IMAGING METADATA
A system for transmission of imaging metadata comprises a sensor configured to capture audiovisual data and a data transmission device. The data transmission device receives captured audiovisual data from the first sensor and receives metadata, wherein the metadata is metadata of a first type. The data transmission device generates a data structure corresponding to a first frame of a video feed, wherein the data structure is generated in accordance with a predefined data specification, wherein generating the data structure comprises setting an indicator in the data structure to indicate that a second type of metadata should not be read from a first field in the data structure and writing the first metadata to the first field in the data structure. The data transmission device transmits the data structure along with the captured audiovisual data.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SAVING AND RESTORING SCENES IN A MULTIMEDIA SYSTEM
Recommending and activating scenes in a multimedia system are provided. The techniques of the present disclosure can allow the states of the components in the multimedia system to be captured in a scene. Once the scene has been saved, the scene can be activated at a later time. A controller device for recommending scenes by comparing the current state with states of components in saved scenes is also provided. The controller device can also determine if media is playing in a current scene, and activate a selected scene without playing the media content. Once the selected scene is activated, the media playing in the current scene can be switched, and the media playing in the selected scene can be played.

Systems and methods for generating a video clip and associated closed-captioning data
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for generating a video clip and associated closed-captioning (CC) data. An example method involves accessing a first video clip demarcated into frames; accessing CC data demarcated into CC blocks, identifying a starting frame from among the frames; determining a first set of frames that are within a range of the starting frame; determining a first set of CC blocks that correlate to the first set of frames; receiving a selection of a starting position from among the first set of CC blocks; identifying an ending frame among the frames; using the ending frame to identify an ending position; and generating a second video clip and associated CC data, wherein the second video clip includes the frames spanning from the starting frame to the ending frame, and wherein the generated CC data includes the CC blocks spanning from the starting position to the ending position.
TRANSMISSION CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE
A method includes acquiring, from a camera, an image and capturing information indicating at least one of a capturing environment and a capturing status when the image is captured, determining whether to transmit the image to another computer based on the capturing information, and when it is determined that the image is transmitted to the another computer, transmitting the image to the another computer.

Method and system for creating media content
Methods, apparatuses, and computer program products are disclosed for determining a plurality of parameters of a shim file to define a format of at least one media content input, creating a file based program master based on the shim file, and providing the created file based program master to a user for creating and delivering the at least one media content input.

Dynamic processing of image borders
Described herein are systems and methods of processing images comprising border features including, but not limited to letterboxing, pillarboxing, or windowboxing. Between the border features is primary content. The processing comprises scaling the primary content to increase prominence during presentation. Space unused during the presentation is filled with a revised border. Supplemental content may be presented in at least a portion of the revised border.
SEMICONDUCTOR DEVICE, VIDEO DISPLAY SYSTEM AND VIDEO SIGNAL OUTPUT METHOD
The present disclosure provides a semiconductor device including: a selection section that selects and outputs one video signal from plural input video signals; a clock signal output section that outputs a clock signal that corresponds to the video signal selected by the selection section; and a masking section that, for a predetermined period starting from a point When the clock signal output from the clock signal output section is switched in accordance with a switching of the selection of the video signal, performs masking processing on a synchronization signal that, among plural synchronization signals that correspond respectively to the plural video signals, corresponds to the video signal selected by the selection section, wherein the selection section outputs the selected video signal in synchronization with the synchronization signal that corresponds to the selected video signal and that has undergone masking processing.
