The present invention provides a method of transmitting broadcast signals. The method includes, encoding Data Pipe, DP, data according to a code rate, wherein the encoding further includes Low-Density Parity-Check, LDPC, encoding the DP data, Bit interleaving the LDPC encoded DP data, and mapping the bit interleaved DP data onto constellations; building at least one signal frame by mapping the encoded DP data; and modulating data in the built signal frame by an Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing, OFDM, method and transmitting the broadcast signals having the modulated data.

The present invention provides a method of transmitting broadcast signals. Method for pre-rendering video thumbnails at other than macroblock boundaries
Pre-rendering video thumbnails at other than macroblock boundaries may be provided. A guide experience may be provided that incorporates thumbnail videos as part of a navigation experience that may be personalized per user input. “Personalized” mosaics and video-tiles may be provided as part of the guide such that a given mosaic has an integrated look and feel. An optional guide-view may be included as part of the navigation guide. Mosaics may be defined including a plurality of thumbnails which may be available for display on the client device. Per user request, the selected video may be retrieved, scaled to dimension other than the macroblock dimension, and be fitted within a macro block that has macroblock dimensions larger than the scaled dimensions of the scaled video and be displayed. A portion of the macroblock that does not include the scaled video may be masked.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR INTERFACING IMAGE MANAGER TO MONITOR FOR MEDICAL IMAGING APPLICATIONS
The disclosure relates to monitor interface for interfacing an image manager to a monitor. The interface includes a set of input ports for receiving a set of input image signals from the image manager, respectively. The interface includes a set of image multiplexers configured to multiplex pairs of the set of input image signals to generate output image signals, respectively. The interface further includes a set of output ports configured to produce the output image signals, respectively. The set of output ports are configured to be compliantly mated with a set of input ports of a monitor. The monitor is configured to simultaneously render images on separate portions of a screen based on the output image signals, respectively. From the image manager perspective, the monitor interface appears as it is a legacy monitor, and provides authentication information pertaining to the legacy monitor to the image manager.

Systems and methods for saving and restoring scenes in a multimedia system with minimal configuration are provided. The techniques of the present invention can allow the states of the components in the multimedia system to be captured in a scene. Once the scene has been saved, the scene can be restored at a later time. A remote control system for recommending scenes by comparing states of components in the current scene with states of components in saved scenes is also provided. The remote control system can also recommend scenes based on usage patterns. Moreover, the remote control system can allow users to designate one or more saved scenes as favorite scenes.
