Terminal and operating method thereof
A terminal includes a communication interface for receiving a plurality of profile information from a plurality of terminals, an input/output interface for receiving a first signal generated by a user of the terminal based on a certain profile information of the plurality of profile information, and a processor for checking whether the terminal has a history of receiving a second signal from a terminal that provided the certain profile information, and for attempting, by the terminal, a video call to the terminal that provided the certain profile information depending on a result of the check, and the input/output interface may display the certain profile information and video call waiting time during the video call waiting time after attempting the video call.
Method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable record medium for providing reputation badge for video chat
Disclosed is a method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable record medium for providing a reputation badge for a video chat. The method includes providing a video chat with another user selected through real-time matching based on a request from a user of the computer apparatus; and using a plurality of reputation badges representing different reputation information in the video chat.
Display assistant device having a monitoring mode and an assistant mode
A display assistant device comprises a display, a camera, a speaker, microphones, a processor and memory. The memory stores programs comprising instructions that, when executed by the processor, enable a plurality of modes of the display assistant device. The modes include a monitoring mode and an assistant mode. In the monitoring mode, the device is configured to perform a remote monitoring function in which first video captured by the camera is streamed to a remote server system for monitoring uses. The monitoring uses include transmission of the first video to remote client devices authorized to access the first video. In the assistant mode, the device is configured to perform a second plurality of functions that excludes the monitoring function and includes a video communication function in which second video captured by the camera is transmitted to second devices participating in a video communication with a first user of the device.

TELEPRESENCE SYSTEM
The present disclosure relates to a telepresence system capable of providing telepresence in a better acoustic environment. The telepresence system includes: a network that connects a plurality of bases; and a plurality of telepresence facilities that transmit and receive video images and sound via the network, and share the video images and the audio between the respective bases. Each telepresence facility is then entirely covered with a sound shielding portion that acoustically shields the external environment and the internal environment of the telepresence facility from each other. Further, in each of the telepresence facilities, the same sound field as that of another telepresence facility is reproduced in a closed space shielded by the sound shielding portion. The present technology can be applied to a telepresence system capable of making a user feel as if places were connected and the other party were present in the same place, for example.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING HEALTHCARE SERVICES REMOTELY OR VIRTUALLY WITH OR USING AN ELECTRONIC HEALTHCARE RECORD AND/OR A COMMUNICATION NETWORK
An apparatus, including a computer including a database which stores a first electronic record and information contained in a master records file, and a distributed ledger and Blockchain technology system. The apparatus facilitates a video call between a user device and a provider device. The computer, after processing information for updating the first electronic record, processes information for identifying a plurality of second electronic records for the individual and a healthcare provider associated with each second electronic record. The computer updates each of the plurality of second electronic records, and generates a record update message. The computer transmits the record update message to each of a plurality of second provider devices associated with each second healthcare provider. Information regarding the update to the first electronic record and the update to each of the second records is stored in the distributed ledger and Blockchain technology system.
CONTEXT-AWARE SOUND IDENTIFICATION FOR MONITORING A CLIENT USER
A sound identification system is used for identifying a sound associated with a client user. The sound identification system can receive information from a network device in a network that is associated with the client user. The sound identification system determines one or more context parameters based on the information. A client user can output a sound. This sound can be received as a sound input by the sound identification system. The sound identification system can determine one or more identified sound signatures associated with the client user based on one or more sound signatures. The sound identification system can determine an identified sound based on the one or more identified sound signatures and the one or more context parameters. In this way, a client user is monitored using context-aware sound identification.
CONTEXT-AWARE SOUND IDENTIFICATION FOR MONITORING A CLIENT USER
A monitoring system can provide a sound profile to a network device. The monitoring system can identify a type of location associated with the network device that is located in a network. The monitoring system can determine a sound profile based on the type of location. The monitoring system can provide the sound profile to the network device. The sound profile relates to one or more sounds associated with the location so that the network device need not store and/or process all sounds but rather only those sounds that would typically be received or made at the location. The sound profile can be based or updated based on user sensor data received from the network device. In this way, the network device, the monitoring system, any other network resource, or any combination thereof uses context-aware sound identification to monitor a client user.
OBSCURING DIGITAL VIDEO STREAMS VIA A PANIC BUTTON DURING DIGITAL VIDEO COMMUNICATIONS
This disclosure describes methods, non-transitory computer readable storage media, and systems that obscure digital video streams during digital video communications while maintaining connections corresponding to the digital video communications. The disclosed system determines that a first user client device is involved in an ongoing digital video communication with a second user client device in which the first client device is receiving a digital video stream from the second user client device. The disclosed system provides, to the first user client device, an option to obscure the digital video stream from the second user client (e.g., via a “panic button” interface element). In response to a selection of the option, the disclosed system then obscures the digital video stream at the first user client device while maintaining a connection corresponding to the digital video communication between the first user client device and the second user client device.
BLURRING DIGITAL VIDEO STREAMS UPON INITIATING DIGITAL VIDEO COMMUNICATIONS
This disclosure describes methods, non-transitory computer readable storage media, and systems that apply a blur filter to a digital video stream of a user to a recipient based on blur settings. The disclosed system receives a request to initiate a digital video communication between a first user (e.g., a customer) associated with a first user client device and a second user (e.g., an agent) associated with a second user client device. The disclosed system determines a blur setting (e.g., a degree of blur and an amount of time) associated with the second user indicating to blur a digital video stream from the first user client device at the second user client device. The disclosed system initiates the digital video communication by presenting a blur filter on the digital video stream according to the blur setting for display at the second user client device.
