A system that includes a detection device, an imaging device, and a control device is disclosed. The detection device may generate proximity data relating to a proximity of an undercarriage of a rail vehicle, and the imaging device may capture one or more thermal images of the undercarriage. The control device may receive a first thermal image and a second thermal image of the undercarriage. The first thermal image may be captured using a first integration time, and the second thermal image may be captured using a second integration time. The control device may determine composite thermal data associated with the undercarriage. The composite thermal data may include information mapping a first range of thermal data and mapping a second range of thermal data to one or more components of the undercarriage. The control device may cause an action to be performed in connection with the composite thermal data.
Methods for handling anomaly notification messages
In systems and methods for communicating an anomaly notification message to a wireless communication network, a wireless device may generate an anomaly notification message comprising an anomaly notification object in response to determining that the received information satisfies one or more threshold criteria indicative of the anomaly condition, configure the anomaly notification message with a transport layer anomaly code, and send sending the configured anomaly notification message via an anomaly-specific network communication link to a wireless communication network. A communication network device may receive the anomaly notification message, and in response to determining that the anomaly notification message was received via the anomaly-specific network communication link may associate the anomaly notification message with an anomaly priority that is higher than a normal traffic priority.

The systems and methods further providing for determining a subset of the plurality of individual data streams of the stitched data stream associated with a time period of the active data stream in the common audio timeline, selecting the alternate data stream from the subset of the plurality of individual data streams, and providing the alternate data stream to the computing device, wherein the display of the active data stream on the computing device transitions to the alternate data stream on the computing device in the common audio timeline.
System and method for remote viewing of vehicles using drones
Systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media for generating a flight path for aerial drones around parked vehicles, where the flight path navigates an aerial drone to specific locations associated with predetermined views of the vehicle. A remotely located user can select from a list of predetermined views where the drone should travel, and the computer system can direct the drone to a location associated with the selected view, align the camera on the drone to capture the selected view, and relay live video of the selected view of the parked car to the user.
Image Capturing Hardware and Methods
An image capturing system and methods of capturing images is provided. The system pairs an image sensor with a lighting element and light control components to improve image quality. The system further pairs one or more image sensor with one or more respective image focusing elements, thereby enabling the system to cover a variety of regions. Certain methods of the present invention include controlling light production and/or otherwise controlling when the sensor is exposed to light, what light the image sensor is exposed to, and which pathway the light must travel. By controlling light, the system and methods of the present invention controls image capture. Information availability is optimized and data processing is minimized by optimizing camera placement. Information reliability is optimized through routine assessment of the system and, when necessary, dynamically calibrating the system.

The single image capture device collects light and images using the convex mirror such a way that the composite image of the image strips can be presented as a panoramic image, wherein the panoramic image is displayed as a rectangle where the horizontal direction represents the width of the undercarriage of the vehicle.

The method may include obtaining a current image generated based on an exposure parameter, wherein the current image includes a plurality of pixels; determining a plurality of target pixels or target pixel groups from at least portion of the plurality of pixels; determining a statistic representation based on target pixels or target pixel groups; determining a characteristic feature based on the statistic representation; and, updating the exposure parameter, based on the characteristic feature, to generate an updated image.
Method for displaying a video stream of a scene
A method for displaying a video stream of a scene captured by a monitoring camera on a display of a remote client device comprises receiving, at the client device, the video stream and information indicating an on/off status for an IR-illuminator illuminating the scene; setting a display setting of the display differently based on upon the on/off status for the IR-illuminator; and displaying the video stream on the display using the display setting. The client device comprises a display, a receiver which receives a video stream from the monitoring camera, and a control circuit. The control circuit executes an IR-illuminator status function to extract information indicating on/off status for the IR-illuminator illuminating the scene, a display setting function of the display differently upon the on/off status for the IR-illuminator, and a displaying function displays the video stream on the display using the setting set by the display setting function.
