DISPLAY DEVICE, SIGNAL PROCESSING DEVICE, AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING DISPLAY DEVICE
A display device which displays an image based on an input image signal includes: a first IC which performs first processing on the input image signal; a second IC which performs second processing on the signal processed by the first IC; and a setting unit which measures a frequency of the input image signal and sets a reference frequency inputted to the first IC, based on the measured frequency. The first IC is configured to be able to receive the input image signal within a frequency range decided by the reference frequency. The setting unit sets the reference frequency such that the frequency range decided by the reference frequency includes the frequency of the input image signal, if the frequency of the input image signal is out of the frequency range decided by the reference frequency.
Control and display system with synchronous direct view video array and incident key lighting
Various embodiments relate to an apparatus for controlling a lighting device. A light control circuit can use a controlled lighting sequence control and drive viewed sections of a lighting device to display chroma key color or emit infrared light, while driving other unviewed portions of the lighting device to display ambient and incident lighting. The viewed and unviewed lighting sections can be based on the field of vision of an image capture device and can change in relation to movements of the image capture device. A sensor can make measurements to determine to field of vision of the image capture device and can be used to generate or modify the controlled lighting sequence. An image processing circuit can generate a composite image using the chroma key while maintaining the subjects that are captured using ambient and incident lighting.

Image projection system, projector, and control method for image projection system
A target color is set on the basis of a first captured image obtained by capturing, with an imaging section, at least a part of a first image projected by a projection optical system of a projector. First correction data for correcting a color of a projected image of another projector to the target color is calculated on the basis of a second captured image obtained by capturing, with the imaging section, at least a part of a second image projected by the projection optical system of the other projector.
Method and apparatus configured for combined vibratory and projection functions
Apparatus, such as can be included in an electronic device, performs a method for operating apparatus configured for combined vibratory and projection functions. The apparatus includes a mirror configured to reflect a projected image and a motor. The mirror is coupled as a counterweight to the motor to configure the apparatus for a vibratory function. The motor is further configured to translate and rotate the mirror about a first axis to align the mirror with a projector to reflect the projected image during a projection function.
System and method for injection of mapping functions
A method and system for improving display quality by injecting a portion of computer code into an existing compositor, using the portion of computer code to apply a mapping function to a first digital image, and forming a second digital image based upon the first digital image as adapted by applying the applied mapping function in the compositor. The second digital image may then be displayed to a viewer via one or more displays where each display forms a part of the displayed digital image. The result may be used for creation of blended or stereoscopic images. The mapping function may be also adapted for modification of geometry or correction of a characteristic (such as color, intensity, etc.) of the display system where such characteristic may be sensed using a detector. The portion of code may be injected into a graphics driver controlling hardware composition for a displayed digital image.

Image production system and method
A system for image production in a KTV setting uses more than one display screen, a first screen for displaying a star MV and a song menu and a second screen for images of a singer as captured by cameras within the KTV setting. The system includes a capturing unit and a processing unit. The capturing unit captures images of the singer. The processing unit produces a singer MV according to the images of the single or plurality of singers, which can be enhanced with special effects, and displays the singer MV on the second screen.
