HOOD STRUCTURE FOR A GARMENT
Examples of a hood structure for a garment are disclosed. The hood structure includes a first hood portion for covering at least a portion of a wearer's head. The first hood portion has an outer surface, an inner surface, and an opening edge that defines a face opening when the hood structure is worn by the wearer. The hood structure also includes a second hood portion with an attachment edge that is attached to the outer surface of the first hood portion and an unattached edge. The second hood portion reversibly pivots around the attachment edge between a first position and a second position. In the first position, the second hood portion at least partially covers the first hood portion. In the second position, the second hood portion at least partially covers the face opening.

Flexible Ballistic Headwear
A ballistic garment includes a plurality of flexible ballistic sheets. Each of the plurality of flexible ballistic sheets defines at least one slit. Opposite edges of the plurality of flexible ballistic sheets at the at least one slit are positioned in overlap such that each of the plurality of flexible ballistic sheets is curved. The plurality of flexible ballistic sheets are nested together, and the plurality of flexible ballistic sheets are mounted together to collectively form a flexible headcap.

Moisture-wicking article of headwear
A moisture-wicking article of headwear includes a first layer of material formed from a polyester yarn, a second layer of material formed from a polyester yarn, and an absorbent layer positioned between the first layer of material and the second layer of material at a front of the article of headwear. The article of headwear is configured to temporarily store perspiration produced by a wearer's forehead area and transport the perspiration to the sides and back of the article of headwear where it can subsequently evaporate or be harmlessly released.

Method and apparatus for providing transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) to a patient
Apparatus for applying Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) to a patient comprising a head mount for disposition on the head of a patient, and a plurality of magnet assemblies for releasable mounting on the head mount. The magnet assemblies comprises a magnet for selectively providing a rapidly changing magnetic field capable of inducing weak electric currents for modifying the natural electrical activity of the brain of the patient. The number of magnet assemblies mounted, their individual positioning, and their selective provision of a rapidly changing magnetic field is selected to allow spatial, strength and temporal characteristics of the magnetic field to be tailored for the patient, to provide patient-specific IMS therapy, assist in diagnosis, or map out brain function. The magnet assembles can comprise magnets for provide a rapidly changing magnetic field of at least 500-600 Tesla/second corresponding to a magnet movement speed of no less than 400 Hertz.

HOOD INCLUDING PARTICLE BARRIER
Disclosed are protective hoods including particle barrier layers to reduce or prevent penetration of the hoods by particulates in the environment of a wearer. The particle barrier layer of a hood is accessible when the hood is intact. A hood described herein optionally includes an aperture for accessing the particle barrier layer. A hood described herein optionally includes a face opening that engages with a face mask to form a protective seal. A hood described herein optionally includes a visual indicator to indicate when the hood is properly positioned with respect to a face mask.
Firefighter hood with protective flap
A firefighter hood comprising a hood body configured to fit around a head of a wearer, wherein the hood body includes a face opening configured to be aligned with a face of the wearer when the hood is worn. The hood further includes a flap coupled to the hood body. The flap is movable between an extended position wherein the flap covers only part of the opening in front view, and a retracted position wherein the flap does not cover any of the opening in front view or covers less of the opening in front view compared to when the flap is in the extended position.
