The present invention is a removable, reusable and interchangeable multi-shell lining configured for placement within a hat member, cap or any sort of head-wear for adjustable thermal comfort, moisture retention, reduction of friction thus reducing frizz and breakage of naturally dry and curly hair. The lining is comprised of a satin outer shell, satin-encased thermal middle shell and waterproof inner shell. The three shells, which are not bonded together, provide optimal moisture retention, reduction of friction of hair and thermal comfort. The three constituent shells are intended for contact with the wearer, can be interchanged and or used as a single shell lining while still maintaining hair moisture and reducing hair frizz and breakage.

A wig cap. The wig cap includes an annular band including an upper edge, a lower edge, an inner layer, and an outer layer. A crown portion includes a first edge and a second edge, wherein the first edge is connected to the upper edge of the annular band. A mesh portion includes a first edge and a second edge, wherein that the first edge of the mesh portion is connected to the second edge of the crown portion, and the second edge of the mesh portion is connected to the upper edge of the annular band. The mesh portion is configured to contact a rear area and side areas of a wearer's head when worn thereon, and the crown portion is configured to contact a crown area of a wearer's head when worn thereon. The wig cap protects the scalp and hair follicles from wigs and other head coverings.

Various embodiments of devices, systems and methods for using a cap to unobtrusively monitor a patient's vital signs are disclosed. More specifically, a stocking cap includes at least one primary compartment configured for receiving a first biometric sensor, at least one third compartment configured for receiving a cartridge, at least one fourth compartment configured for receiving a transmitter, at least one channel configured for routing at least one connector, and at least one fifth compartment configured for receiving an antenna. A system for use with such a cap includes a sensor which outputs vitals, a cartridge configured to receive the vitals from the sensor, process the received vitals, and output the processed vitals to a server. The server providing processed vital signals for use and display on a tablet or other user presentation and user interface device.

A hair wrap envelopes the hair. The hair wrap comprises a cap portion, a pouch, and side walls. The cap portion has at least one attachment means. At least two elongated ties located on opposite sides of the side walls are adapted to be twisted for securing the wrap on the user's head. A material loop is located on a back base of the pouch to hold the ties in place. An attachment means located on a bottom edge of the pouch mates with the attachment means of the cap portion. A crown loop located on the top section is adapted to hold the pouch after the pouch is twisted and lifted toward the top section. The pouch is adapted to lay untwisted when the wrap is in an extended position, and to be twisted and lifted upward when the wrap is in a wrapped position.

A protective clothing device having an article of clothing having an inner layer and/or an outer layer is disclosed. The protective clothing device may have thin force absorbing members coupled to the inner layer or outer layer of the article of clothing. The force absorbing members can have overlapping or interlaced portions for enhanced protection even when the protective clothing device expands. In one embodiment, the protective clothing device may be a protective hat. In another embodiment, the protective clothing device may be a headband.

Implementations of a head covering article are provided. The head covering article includes an edge portion configured to rest on a wearer's forehead and a pad configured to cover a portion of the wearer's forehead. In some implementations, the bottom edge of the pad is aligned with a portion of the edge portion of the material to create a padded edge portion. In some implementations, the corners of the pad are rounded. Either of these implementations may reduce or prevent impressions from being formed horizontally across the wearer's forehead.

A detachable bag for holding objects includes a detachable front panel, a central hollow compartment, a detachable back panel, a detachable hood, and at least two shoulder straps. The detachable front panel includes a fastening member positioned along a perimeter of the detachable front panel for fastening the detachable front panel to the central hollow compartment. The central hollow compartment accommodates multiple objects, for example, books, etc. The central hollow compartment includes fastening members positioned along opposing perimeters of the central hollow compartment. The detachable back panel includes a fastening member, positioned along a perimeter of the detachable back panel for fastening the detachable back panel to the central hollow compartment. The detachable hood includes at least two fastening members for fastening the detachable hood to the shoulder straps. The shoulder straps are attached to the detachable back panel and include fastening members for removably attaching the detachable hood.

An apparel item for an upper torso of a wearer having a pocket structure affixed to an inner-facing surface of apparel item. The pocket structure is sized to be able to receive and store the apparel item when the apparel item is not being worn by a wearer, in what is referred to as a stowed configuration. The apparel item may be formed from a lightweight material, such that when the apparel item is in the stowed configuration, the apparel item may be easily carried in the hand of a wearer.

The present invention is directed toward a hood adjusting mechanism for improving the fit and adjustability of a hood over a wearer's head when worn by the wearer and may include a hood portion with a generally circumferential opening, a first and second aperture, and a first and second channel. In addition, the hood adjusting mechanism may further include a first and second continuous cord that extend through the first and second channels, exit at the first and second apertures, and are releasably secured by a tightening mechanism. The hood adjusting mechanism may be included as part of an apparel item with a body portion, such as a jacket or a coat.

Outerwear, such as thermally insulated jackets and pants are disclosed. The outerwear may include insulative panels that are positioned, oriented, sized, and shaped according to a body mapping. The body mapping may indicate areas where insulative material should be reduced to improve the mobility of a wearer of the outerwear.
