Image pickup apparatus and image pickup system
An apparatus configured to acquire a plurality of spectral images of an object includes at least one processor configured to execute a plurality of tasks including a selection task configured to select a recording wavelength band according to an input by a user, and a control task configured to store in a memory information on a spectral image corresponding to the recording wavelength band. The apparatus acquires the plurality of spectral images by imaging the object through a plurality of lens units each configured to form an image of the object, and a plurality of filters each of which is disposed on a corresponding one of optical axes of the plurality of lens units.
Imaging apparatus having autofocus function
An imaging apparatus includes an autofocus function, and performs focus adjustment by displacing a focus lens to an in-focus opposition. A focal correction calculation unit calculates a focal correction amount using at least one type of information selected from the diaphragm information used for exposure adjustment, positional information for the zoom lens, and positional information for the focus lens. The focal correction amount is further revised, and processing is executed to suppress coloring on the subject image resulting from chromatic aberration. The correction amount after revision is sent to a focal adjustment unit and the focal lens is driven and controlled by the lens control unit.
Method for real-time video processing involving changing features of an object in the video
A method for real-time video processing for changing features of an object in a video, the method comprises: providing an object in the video, the object being at least partially and at least occasionally presented in frames of the video; detecting the object in the video; generating a list of at least one element of the object, the list being based on the object's features to be changed according to a request for modification; detecting the at least one element of the object in the video; tracking the at least one element of the object in the video; and transforming the frames of the video such that the at least one element of the object is modified according to the request for modification.

METHOD FOR PROCESSING SIGNALS WITH OPERATING STATE-DEPENDENT HANDLING OF MULTIMEDIA ATTRIBUTES AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREOF
A method for playing a media file in an electronic device is provided. The method includes running, on an electronic device having an operating system (OS), a media presentation system, receiving, at the media presentation system, from a source a media file including audio and video signals, wherein the video signals include the video container of a form suitable for representation on a video output component of the electronic device, playing, at the media presentation system, the media file by processing the audio and video signals, and manipulating, at the media presentation system, the video container depending on an operating state of one or both of the media presentation system and the electronic device while the audio and video signals are being processed.
PLAYING APPARATUS, PLAYING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, PROGRAM, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
The present technology relates to a playing apparatus, a playing method, an information processing apparatus, an information processing method, a program, and a recording medium that allow playing of appropriate HDR videos. A playing apparatus in an aspect of the present technology has a storage unit that has regions for storing a plurality of units of information indicating the state of the playing apparatus including preference information indicating the type of an HDR video to be preferentially played, out of a first HDR video that is essential in including in a content an HDR video as a video in a wider brightness range than a standard brightness range and a second HDR video that is capable of being included in the content. The playing apparatus acquires encoded data of the HDR video to be preferentially played indicated by the preference information, out of encoded data of the first HDR video and encoded data of the second HDR video, and decodes the acquired encoded data. The present technology is applicable to Blu-ray disc players.
System and method for controlling and selecting sources in a room on a network
A system and method for controlling and selecting sources in a room on a network. The system allows a remote viewer to create a virtual presence within the room by providing the available displays, corresponding to the sources, to the remote viewer. The system includes a standardizing technique for improving the communication and overall switching of data for streaming on a network. The system can include a recording server for performing dual recording of the video files in each of a local database and a remote database. A graphical user interface (GUI) display is provided to guide a local user through a medical procedure in the standardized system.

Synchronizing the storing of streaming video
A method, system, and computer-readable medium for synchronizing video are described. The system captures video data with a camera, the video data including a first video data segment and a second video data segment. When a network between the camera and a hub is insufficient to allow downstream real-time streaming of the video data, the system stores the first video data segment on a first storage. When the network is sufficient to allow downstream real-time streaming of the video data, the system transfers the second video data segment from the camera to the hub, reads the first video data segment from the first storage, and transfers the first video data segment to the hub. The system stores the video data segments onto a second storage such that a non-real-time playback from the second storage shows the first video data segment and the second video data segment in sequence.
