ADJUSTED IMAGE DATA GENERATING DEVICE, COLOR DIFFERENCE ADJUSTED IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM, ADJUSTED IMAGE DATA GENERATION METHOD, ADJUSTED IMAGE DATA GENERATION PROGRAM, AND COLOR DIFFERENCE ADJUSTED IMAGE DISPLAY METHOD
An adjusted image data generating device includes storage and an adjusting section. The storage stores color reference data of a color reference therein. The adjusting section generates adjusted image data by adjusting an object image for image data representing a color reference image and the object image so that color data of a color reference image matches the color reference data. The color reference image is an image of a color reference. The image data is an image of an object.
CAMERA MODULE ALIGNING METHOD
A camera module aligning method includes the following steps. Firstly, a reference chart having plural chart characteristic points is provided. Then, a camera module is used to shoot the reference chart, and an installation position and an installation posture of the camera module are acquired according to an internal parameter matrix and an external parameter matrix. When the camera module shoots the reference chart and an image is formed on an imaging plane of the camera module, a relationship between at least one image characteristic point of the image and the corresponding chart characteristic point complies with a standard relationship. The standard relationship is defined by the internal parameter matrix and the external parameter matrix.
IMAGE AND VIDEO BANDING ASSESSMENT
Banding effects in an image or video are assessed. The image or each frame of a video is decomposed into luminance or color channels. Signal activity is computed at each spatial location in each channel. A significance of the signal activity at each spatial location is determined by comparing each element of the signal activity with a significance threshold. Banding pixels are detected as those pixels of the image or frame having significant signal activity at their respective spatial locations and having non-significant signal activity of at least a minimum threshold percentage of neighboring pixels to the respective spatial locations.
System and Methods for Calibration of an Array Camera
Systems and methods for calibrating an array camera are disclosed. Systems and methods for calibrating an array camera in accordance with embodiments of this invention include the capturing of an image of a test pattern with the array camera such that each imaging component in the array camera captures an image of the test pattern. The image of the test pattern captured by a reference imaging component is then used to derive calibration information for the reference component. A corrected image of the test pattern for the reference component is then generated from the calibration information and the image of the test pattern captured by the reference imaging component. The corrected image is then used with the images captured by each of the associate imaging components associated with the reference component to generate calibration information for the associate imaging components.
