Systems and methods for generating certified images and incident reports are disclosed. An image capture device can be used to capture an image and integrate metadata from camera sensors as well as other ancillary device sensors into the image. The image and its metadata can then be certified upon a check that the image and its metadata are authentic and unaltered. The image and its metadata can then be included in or as a part of an incident or other report describing an incident or event such as an accident or a crime. The image and/or incident report may be maintained at a cloud-based server for viewing, authorized editing, and subsequent distribution.

Virtual interaction session to facilitate time limited augmented reality based communication between multiple users

Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interface to facilitate augmented reality based communication between multiple users over a network. Session configuration data including configuration parameters of a virtual interaction session with a first user is received from a first device. The configuration parameters include an identifier of a second user that is permitted to join the virtual interaction session and a micro-chat duration that defines a time limit for a real-time communication link between the first and second user during the virtual interaction session. The real-time communication link between the first and second user by causing display, by the second device, of a live camera feed generated at the first device. Upon expiration of the micro-chat duration, the real-time communication link between the first and second user is terminated.

REVERSING IMAGE DISPLAY SYSTEM WITH PACKET SELECTION MECHANISM AND METHOD THEREOF
20190208154 · 2019-07-04 ·

A reversing image display system with packet selection mechanism and a method thereof are provided. A reversing image display device is interconnected with a wireless receiver which receives wireless packet wirelessly. The wireless packet corresponding to the reversing image display device is filtered out, and an authentication identifier and a control signal are parsed from the filtered wireless packet for authentication. The control signal is transmitted to the reversing image display device after the authentication identifier passes authentication. As a result, the reversing image display device can perform function according to the control signal. Therefore, the efficiency of providing wireless packet filtered by the wireless receiver which is interconnected with reversing image display device may be achieved.

Systems and processes that incorporate teachings of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving from a mobile device, by way of a cellular network, a request for delivery of high-bandwidth application service. A location of the mobile device can be obtained and used to determine availability of any nearby wireless packet-network services. If it is determined that a wireless packet-network service is available, a network connection between the mobile device and the wireless packet-network service can be established. The request for delivery of high-bandwidth services can then be forwarded to an application server that delivers the requested services by way of the wireless packet-network service. Other embodiments are disclosed.

VIDEO FAILOVER RECORDING

A method of failover recording of video streams in a camera connectable to a receiver device over a communication network, the method comprising: detecting that a bandwidth of a connection over the communication network is insufficient for transmitting a video stream at a predetermined bitrate, generating multiple parallel encoded video streams with different bitrates, storing the multiple parallel encoded video streams on a memory storage accessible to the camera, detecting that the memory storage usage of the memory storage exceeds a storage threshold, discontinuing the storing of one of the multiple encoded video streams being the encoded video stream that provides the highest bitrate among the multiple encoded video streams, and discarding the one of the multiple encoded video streams from the memory storage.
