Architecture and method for aggregating and interacting with multiple third-party applications
Systems, apparatuses, and methods are described for generating tokens for user devices to request content items from one or more content delivery networks via networks provided by a network service provider. The tokens may be generated based on rules provided by the network service provider and may indicate whether the content delivery networks have permission to send targeted content items to the user device. Tokens provided to a user device may prevent repeated delivery of the same content item to the user device.
Rule evaluation for real-time data stream
Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are described. A computing device may receive a user input indicating a data stream, a data metric configured for a tenant of a multi-tenant database system, a rule associated with the data metric, a trigger based on the data metric, or some combination thereof. The computing device may receive, from the data stream, a real-time data stream including information corresponding to the data metric configured for the tenant, where the real-time data stream may be associated with a first user profile stored at the multi-tenant database system. The computing device may evaluate the rule, the trigger, or both based on ingesting the data stream and may perform the action based on the evaluation. Performing the action may involve sending a message to a user device associated with the first user profile in response to at least a portion of the data stream.

Apparatus and methods for packetized data management and delivery in a digital content distribution network
Apparatus and methods for managing provision of digital content within a content distribution network. In one embodiment, a content application manager (CAM) process is used to provide one or more centralized redirection functions for network client processes such as just-in-time (JIT) packagers and cloud digital video recorders (cDVRs). A local database accessible to the CAM is updated with live or other content storage locations within the network, and accordingly each of the client processes can be made simpler and not require any intrinsic knowledge of content asset storage locations. This simplifies the client process configuration, enhances performance in terms of reduced end-user request servicing latency, and allows for single-point automated database updates versus having to provide updates to each client process as under the prior art.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR MANAGING OFFLINE MEDIA CONSUMPTION
Systems and methods for integrating offline video consumption with video advertising are disclosed. One computer-implemented method may include: receiving, at a computer system, a request from a mobile application to download a multimedia article for offline consumption on a user device; constructing, using a processor associated with the computer system, a download package containing the multimedia article and a plurality of alternative multimedia articles; transmitting, using the processor, the download package to the mobile application; receiving, at the computer system from the mobile application, offline interaction data associated with the plurality of alternative multimedia articles during the offline consumption of the multimedia article; and reconciling, using the processor, the offline interaction data with online interaction data generated during online consumption of other multimedia articles in the mobile application. Other aspects are described and claimed.

VIRTUAL INTERACTION SESSION TO FACILITATE REAL-TIME COMMUNICATION BETWEEN MULTIPLE USERS
Aspects of the present disclosure involve a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program, method, and user interface to facilitate augmented reality based communication between multiple users over a network. Session configuration data including configuration parameters of a virtual interaction session with a first user is received from a first device. The configuration parameters include an identifier of a second user that is permitted to join the virtual interaction session and a micro-chat duration that defines a time limit for a real-time communication link between the first and second user during the virtual interaction session. The real-time communication link between the first and second user by causing display, by the second device, of a live camera feed generated at the first device. Upon expiration of the micro-chat duration, the real-time communication link between the first and second user is terminated.

Secure digital data collection
Systems and methods for generating certified images and incident reports are disclosed. An image capture device can be used to capture an image and integrate metadata from camera sensors as well as other ancillary device sensors into the image. The image and its metadata can then be certified upon a check that the image and its metadata are authentic and unaltered. The image and its metadata can then be included in or as a part of an incident or other report describing an incident or event such as an accident or a crime. The image and/or incident report may be maintained at a cloud-based server for viewing, authorized editing, and subsequent distribution.
