LIGHT SOCKET SURVEILLANCE SYSTEMS
A light socket surveillance system can be used to enable a first party to communicate with a second party. The light socket surveillance system can be used to detect an audible notification from the first party. In response to detecting the audible notification from the first party, the light socket surveillance system can initiate a communication session with a remote computing device of the second party.
Method and Apparatus for Leveraging Residue Energy of Capsule Endoscope
Method for leveraging battery residue energy and a capsule endoscope using the method are disclosed. The capsule endoscope is capable of performing one or more functions at a first throughput or a first peak current when the battery has sufficient energy. According to this method, whether the battery energy is sufficient is determined. Upon determining the battery energy being insufficient, at least one function of the one or more functions is performed at a second throughput lower than the first throughput, or at least one function of the one or more functions is switched to another function requiring a second peak current lower than the first peak current
HANDHELD WIRELESS ENDOSCOPE IMAGE STREAMING APPARATUS
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media relate to a handheld wireless endoscope image streaming apparatus. The apparatus may establish a wireless connection to a computer system. The apparatus may obtain, via a digital camera, video imagery via an endoscope, the video imagery including multiple frames. The apparatus may stream to a computer system video data.
DROWSY DRIVING DETECTION METHOD AND SYSTEM THEREOF, AND COMPUTER DEVICE
A drowsy driving detection method comprises: acquiring a side face image of a currently seated driver collected by a camera module; performing face recognition on the side face image to obtain side face feature parameters, and determining, according to the side face feature parameters, whether an ID file corresponding to the currently seated driver exists in a driver ID library; and if yes, periodically acquiring a side face image of the driver in the current period collected by the camera module, obtaining eye movement feature parameters of the driver in the current period according to the side face image of the current period, and determining whether the driver is driving while drowsy according to a comparison result between the eye movement feature parameters of the current period and the normal eye movement feature parameters of the driver.

Tyre tread depth and tyre condition determination
A method for assessing tyre tread depth and/or tyre condition by taking and analysing a camera image or images of a tyre using portable instrumentation.
Smart synchronization method of a web inspection system
A smart synchronizing method of a web inspection system for monitoring a moving web. A synchronizing device, at least one slave camera, and at least one lighting device illuminate an area of the web arranged to be imaged by the cameras. The method includes transmitting a synchronizing signal to the slave camera. The synchronizing signal includes at least a start pulse and serial data including additional information. All the cameras are synchronized with each other based on synchronization moment when integration of cameras end. A light synchronizing signal is transmitted to the at least one lighting device indicating a switching on and off times of the at least one lighting device, which switching off time corresponds to the synchronization moment, and calculating a starting time of integration based on an individual integration time of a camera and the synchronization moment common for cameras of the web inspection system.
Night vision display device
Provided is a night vision output device comprising: an optical pulse output unit for outputting pulsed light at specific periods; a photographing unit having an image sensor for forming a plurality of images by using pulsed light reflected by an external object; a display unit for outputting a final image formed by synthesizing the plurality of images; and a control unit for calculating distance information of an object displayed in each pixel by using data of a brightness ratio for a distance and a brightness ratio for each pixel of the final image, wherein, in one frame, the control unit controls the image sensor such that the image sensor is activated while having different delay times on the basis of an output termination time of the pulsed light.
VIEWFINDER RING FLASH
The technical problem of enhancing the quality of an image captured by a front facing camera in low light conditions is addressed by displaying the viewfinder of a front facing camera with an illuminating border, termed a viewfinder ring flash. A viewfinder ring flash acts as a ring flash in low light conditions. A viewfinder ring flash may be automatically generated and presented in the camera view user interface (UI) when the digital sensor of a front facing camera detects a low light indication based on intensity of incident light detected by the digital image sensor of the camera.
