An image forming system includes a mobile terminal apparatus and an image forming apparatus. The mobile terminal apparatus displays a captured image of an operation panel of the image forming apparatus and transmits, in response to a user operation on the captured image, captured image data indicating the captured image and operation position data indicating a position of the user operation to the image forming apparatus. Based on the captured image data and the operation position data received from the mobile terminal apparatus, the image forming apparatus identifies an indirectly operated part of the operation panel, and executes an action corresponding to the identified part.

A data collection apparatus includes a connecting unit, a storing unit, and a controller. The connecting unit is able to be connected through communication with a limited number of terminal apparatuses. The storing unit stores priority levels regarding connection with the terminal apparatuses. A method for transmitting an image and an electronic device thereof are provided. An image transmission method of an electronic device includes displaying a message transmission/reception history with at least one other electronic device, sensing a selection of a camera execution menu, displaying a preview screen of a camera within a screen in which the message transmission/reception history is displayed, detecting a touch on the displayed preview screen, if the displayed preview screen is touched, capturing an image of a subject, detecting a gesture for the captured image, and, if the gesture for the captured image is detected, transmitting the captured image to the at least one other electronic device according to the detected gesture.

Remote deposit of checks can be facilitated by a financial institution. A customer's general purpose computer and image capture device may be leveraged to capture an image of a check and deliver the image to financial institution electronics. Additional data for the transaction may be collected as necessary. The transaction can be automatically accomplished utilizing the images and data thus acquired.

A device for capturing rendered text is described. The device incorporates one or more visual sensors that receive visual information as a part of capturing rendered text. A photo taking control method and system based on a mobile terminal, and a storage medium. The method comprises: a photo sharing platform pre-stores photos and photos taking positions, and arranges the photos at the same position in descending order according to degrees of attention; a mobile terminal obtains position information of the current position of a user in real time and sends the position information to the photo sharing platform; when retrieving the stored photos at the same position according to the position information, the photo sharing platform sends ahead photos to the mobile terminal.

A scanner assembly for portably scanning documents is disclosed. The scanner assembly includes a board and a cradle assembly. The cradle assembly includes a first cradle member and second cradle member spaced from one another, coupled to the board, and configured to receive the scanner. The cradle assembly includes a support bracket disposed between and coupled to the first and second cradle members. The cradle assembly also includes a lock assembly coupled to the first cradle member and movable between a first position where the scanner is fixed to the first and second cradle members and a second position where the scanner is removable from the first and second cradle members. The first and second cradle members and the support bracket of the cradle assembly are movable along the board for allowing the scanner to scan documents disposed on the board.

Disclosed is a mobile terminal, by which an image can be easily attached. In particular, the present invention includes a 1.sup.st camera, a touchscreen, and a controller controlling the touchscreen to output a running screen of a prescribed application and a preview screen of the 1.sup.st camera to a 1.sup.st region and a 2.sup.nd region on the touchscreen, respectively, the controller, if a photograph command is received, attaching an image data photographed through the 1.sup.st camera to the prescribed application, wherein a data size of the attached image data is based on a size of the 2.sup.nd region.
