INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS
A configuration is provided in which in a case where a user operation is performed on an image forming apparatus or a data processing apparatus while the image forming apparatus and the data processing apparatus are operating in cooperation with each other, the automatic clearing timers of both the apparatuses are reset.
Image reading apparatus
An image reading apparatus includes a platen, a copyholder pressed against a reading surface of a document placed on the platen, and a placing part movably provided, on which a non-pressed portion of the document that is not pressed by the copyholder is placed.
PRINTER ACTING AS HOST FOR DEVICE PRINTERS/SCANNERS
A method of pairing a handheld printer/scanner device with a barcode printer acting as the host is disclosed. The pairing will further enhance the functionality of the host barcode printer. Specifically, the pairing process is initiated when a printer process that requires a handheld printer/scanner device is initiated. The method enables a handheld printer/scanner device to print to a host barcode printer, and also enables the host barcode printer to receive a barcode scan of the case label of received food items and retain information from the barcode scan for future printing of food freshness labels.
Image reading apparatus and image reading method for reading document with reader supported by copyholder
An image reading apparatus includes a platen, a copyholder configured to rotate around a rotary axis, and a reader configured to read a reading surface pressed against the copyholder, of a document placed on the platen. The reader is supported by the copyholder to be able to move in a direction not parallel to the rotary axis.
Storing metadata related to captured images
The present disclosure relates to user-selected metadata related to images captured by a camera of a client device. User-selected metadata may include contextual information and/or information provided by a user when the images are captured. In various implementations, a free form input may be received at a first client device of one or more client devices operated by a user. A task request may be recognized from the free form input, and it may be determined that the task request includes a request to store metadata related to one or more images captured by a camera of the first client device. The metadata may be selected based on content of the task request. The metadata may then be stored, e.g., in association with one or more images captured by the camera, in computer-readable media. The computer-readable media may be searchable by the metadata.
CAMERA SYSTEM AND REFRIGERATOR
One embodiment of a camera system is provided with a camera device serving as an image capturing unit; a communication unit configured to transmit image information captured by the camera device to an external device; and a display terminal configured to display image information captured by the camera device, the display terminal being configured to display at least either of image information captured by the camera device according to prescribed conditions and image information captured according to user instructions.
Imaging Apparatus And Imaging Method
This invention relates to an imaging apparatus and an imaging method for supplying an optimum amount of image data to another apparatus. When a PDA 91 has a maximum transfer rate of 1.5 Mbps, a mobile phone 1 determines that a maximum speed of communication with the PDA 91 is low, reduces accordingly the amount of moving image data captured by a CCD of the mobile phone, and supplies the captured moving image data to the PDA 91. The PDA 91 displays a low-quality moving image 93 on its display unit. When the PDA 91 has a maximum transfer rate of 480 Mbps, the CPU of the mobile phone leaves unchanged the amount of moving picture data captured by the CCD and supplies the captured moving image data to the PDA 91. The PDA 91 then displays a high-quality moving image 94 on the display unit. This invention applies advantageously to digital cameras.
MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
Disclosed is a mobile terminal, by which an image can be easily attached. In particular, the present invention includes a 1.sup.st camera, a touchscreen, and a controller controlling the touchscreen to output a running screen of a prescribed application and a preview screen of the 1.sup.st camera to a 1.sup.st region and a 2.sup.nd region on the touchscreen, respectively, the controller, if a photograph command is received, attaching an image data photographed through the 1.sup.st camera to the prescribed application, wherein a data size of the attached image data is based on a size of the 2.sup.nd region.
NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM FOR COMMUNICATION APPARATUS, COMMUNICATION APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING COMMUNICATION APPARATUS
A non-transitory computer-readable medium storing a computer program readable by a computer of a communication apparatus, the computer program causing the communication apparatus to: when first trigger information for establishing first wireless connection is received, supply a first connection instruction to a first wireless interface and store device information into a memory; when second trigger information is received, supply a second connection instruction to the first wireless interface; and in a specific case where it is not possible to re-establish first wireless connection with the external apparatus, display, on a display, display information for re-establishing the first wireless connection with the external apparatus. The display information includes first display information in case the device information is first device information, and second display information in case the device information is second device information.
IMAGE READING APPARATUS
An image reading apparatus includes a medium support section that supports a medium to be fed, a reading unit that performs reading on the medium fed from the medium support section, and a mounting section on which the medium to be set on the medium support section is mountable, the mounting section being located outside of a main body including the reading unit.
