An information processing device includes a retaining unit and an image display. The retaining unit retains image-formation-related information of an image forming apparatus that forms an image. The image display causes a display section of a portable terminal having the display section and an image capturing section to display an image for assisting with an operation of the image forming apparatus based on a captured image result of the image capturing section and the image-formation-related information retained in the retaining unit.

A method, a computer program product, and a system are disclosed, which use OAuth2 to secure IPv6 Neighbor Discovery. The method including sending a Neighbor Discovery duplicate address detection (DAD) package from a client device on a communication network, the Neighbor Discovery DAD package having an authorization code for an OAuth2 token for access to an IPv6 network; receiving the Neighbor Discovery DAD package with the authorization code on an authorizing device, the authorizing device configured to issue OAuth2 tokens; issuing the OAuth2 token having an expiration to the client device for access to the IPv6 network; and allowing the client device to access the IPv6 network until the expiration of the OAuth2 token.

A device for capturing rendered text is described. The device incorporates one or more visual sensors that receive visual information as a part of capturing rendered text. The visual sensors are collectively capable of capturing both text that is permanently printed on a page, and text that is displayed transitorily on a dynamic device. The device further incorporates a visual information disposition subsystem for disposing of visual information received by the visual sensors. An apparatus that causes a device to print an image. The apparatus includes at least one processor, and a display screen. A state of the apparatus is changed from a first state to a second state when an image is settled as a print target by a user, the first state being a state in which the at least one processor does not cause the device to print the image even if the apparatus is put close to the device, and the second state being a state in which the at least one processor can cause the device to print the image if the apparatus is put close to the device. After the apparatus in the second state performs a short distance wireless communication with the device, the device prints the image.

An information processing apparatus includes plural communication units, a switching unit, and a controller. The communication units are configured to conduct a wireless communication. The switching unit is configured to switch a first communication unit having a relatively fast communication speed to a second communication unit having a relatively slow communication speed if a communication is attempted to start and if the first communication unit is being used.
